It's been two months since Canada disappeared under the lake and Kumajirou was worried for he'd already ate all the food in the pantry and he had quickly become hungry.

The fluffy white bear got up and reached towards the kitchen phone and hit speed dial. He tried to call Cuba but unknowingly called someone else instead because his huge paws pressed the wrong button. The pet polar bear left the mystery person a voice message.

"Hello? Cuba, that guy that feeds me has been acting really weird lately and he's been gone for a long time. I'm very hungry and I've run out of food." Kumajirou said as he pressed the phone to his ear.

"Actually to be honest I've been kind of worried he'd eat pancakes everyday and now he eats nothing at all. I hear him locked up in his room and crying for hours, and You have to come soon before I starve." Kumajirou added as he ended the voice mail and decided to crawl under his blankets for warmth.

Since Canada had been gone no one has been able to pay the bills, because of that there's no heat or water and Kumajirou had to drink all of the bottled water. Kumajirou's stomached grumbled obnoxiously and he rubbed his tummy soothingly to try and calm the angered muscle.

Kumajirou sighed and laid his head on a pillow,"I hope he's okay..." he mumbled as he drifted off into a restless sleep about the whereabouts of his shy owner.

Meanwhile a tall and lean young man with shoulder length hair drawn back in a ponytail walked out the dark evergreen woods with his bloody hockey stick resting on his shoulder.

His ripped jeans had become soaked with snow and his black and white plaid shirt was damp from the chill of winter. He pulled out his keys and unlocked the door to his home.

He shrugged off his boots and carefully rested his precious hockey stick down as he walked into the kitchen only to notice his phone had a notification on it.

It seems that his counterpart Matthew Williams aka the personification of Canada, had left him a voicemail much to his surprise. He smirked showing off his white pearly teeth. "I wonder what he could possible want from me?" he asked himself as he carefully unlocked the screen and listened to the audio.

He carefully listened to each and every word when he realized that the voice he was listening to was not Matthew but of his precious pet polar bear instead.

My shining almost glowing purple eyes were narrowed in thought,"What could Matthew be doing to worry even Kumajirou?" I thought to myself as I set the phone down.

I took a deep breath, for as his 2p we share a special and profound bond.
I closed my eyes trying to think of what could happen to the frail man. I shrugged, I couldn't give a damn...but somehow I felt worried.

"Damn it!" I said turning around and putting on some proper clothes for the freezing weather. I went to get my car keys because I planned to buy some food and go visit his abandoned house.
I usually couldn't care less about anyone's problems but somehow this was different, and after all curiosity killed the cat.

After about half an hour at the grocery store I packed all the bagged food into my pickup truck and drove to Matthews home. I was just going to give the bear his damn food and demand that Matthew pay me back for the money I spent.

Of course I changed my mind when I picked the lock to the door and was able to see the mess in the house. There were empty boxes of food everywhere, empty bottles Of maple syrup were strewn across the floor, and worst of all the stench that filled the house from all that trash filled the room.

I covered my nose with my hand and opened up all the windows to let out the smell and become diluted by the cold breeze that was blowing. I turned after taking a breath of relief as I noticed the house slowly smelling like the outdoors.

Of course I saw his poor polar bear snuggle up under a mountain of blankets trying to keep his own body heat which made me mad, After all who would just abandon their own pet?!

I set the groceries on the counter and sighed, for this was worse than I thought and I was getting worried.
It's not like I was worried about him though it's just that I'm the only one that's allowed to hurt Matthew and I won't let someone else do that.

I sighed and went to put the groceries back in my truck and packed up all of the bears things after searching for a while. By the time I grabbed the bear who seemed to be in a deep sleep and headed out the door it was already 8:50 pm. I Sighed whilst grumbling out mile long curses and set the bear down in the front seat.

I started up the engine and drove out of the neighborhood. I could feel the uneasiness wash over me as my mind thought up all the different scenarios about how Matthew could have disappeared. this is definitely going to be a lot more complicated than I had anticipated.
