»DAY I«

Day 1 : How Everything Started

NATSU'S POV

UGH.... I hate this body, I feel so weak. As I was laying in the grass, I heard footsteps coming closer. I tried to move, but my energy was already drained. I closed my eyes, hoping the person would just pass by. Then, it stopped, I opened my eyes cautiously to see an outline of a person, shadowed by the blazing sun.
"Oi, need some help?" The person said.
I wanted to shoo him away, but my Voice wont come out instead, I groaned in response.

I don't remember what happened after that....

GRAY'S POV
(YOU THOUGHT IT WAS LUCY DIDN'T YOU!)

I was walking around the cursed island, trying to find a Rain Stone . Instead of that, I found a pink haired man laying in the ground, he looked Like he was about to pass out. Being a nice person that I am, I walked towards the mysterious pink haired man.
" Oi, need some help?" I asked him.
His gaze fell upon me, he didn't say anything and groaned. Seeing his weak condition I looked around trying to find some clues about this man. I walked around the area and can't find anything connecting to this mysterious man. I decided to let him come with me for the time being. I proceed to carry him over my shoulder. Looks like I'm going home empty handed. Again.

NATSU'S POV

     I woke up with the salty smell of the sea.... The sea?
     I quickly sat up to see I was on a boat, my insides feels Like it's turning upside down. I can't hold it in much longer.
     "You're awake," a voice said.
I turned my gaze towards a Raven haired man looking at my direction. The moment I turned my head, I lost it. I hung my head over the boat, and proceed to throw up. The raven haired man chukled a bit.
     " Name's Gray. Nice to meet 'cha," he introduced himself, grinning towards me.

The dragon stared at the mysterious man that called himself 'Gray', he opened his mouth, about to say something. But, his face turned green as he hung his head over the boat and continued his motion sickness ritual. The raven haired man sighed and continued to sail. As the sun sets, the raven haired man Jumper down to the shallow water , and pulled his boat to the shore.

GRAY'S POV

As I was gathering my equipments from the boat, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to be suprised by a green faced, pink haired man.
"T... take... me... downnn..." he manage to say, obviously about to throw up.
I put his arm around my shoulders and slowly dragged him to the ground. The moment he felt the sand brushing against his foot, he became over-excited and start kissing the sand, spitting out some that entered his mouth. I shook my head and continue packing.

NATSU'S POV

As soon as I touched the sand, I felt freedom. It took me awhile to maintain balance. I felt energy rushing through my body, I cheered and started kissing the sand, greeted a salty and crunchy taste. I immediately spit them out. It's weird... I Just felt Like... cheering for this moment.
But, then it hit me, I was in a diffrent place, I'm not on the cursed island anymore. I turned around to see the raven haired man tying his boat to a pole. Without realizing it, my legs started walking towards him.
"Hey," I said trying to sound casual.
The man turned around cacing me, "hey."
"So... the name's Gray right?"
"Yeah, you?" He suddenly asked, I should have known this was Coming.
"I- I'm... I'm Natsu?" I made up a name on the spot, but it sounded more Like a Question rather than an answer, I don't know if he's convinced.
He furrowed his eyebrows.
"My name is Natsu," I answered firmly, trying to be more convincing.
"Well, Nice knowing you natsu," he smiled and offered a hand.
We Both shook hands, Gray went back doing a Knot, while I stood there... awkwardly.

.

     "So, what were you doing on the cursed island?" Gray asked, breaking the silence.
     " I- um.... I was.... In a... SEARCH!" I Said half lying.
     " What about you?" I asked, turning the tables at him.
     " I was also in a search," he answered, to my suprise he didn't seem to be lying.
     " What... What were you searching for?" I asked cautiously.
    It was silence for a while until he opened his mouth,
     " Rain stone."

GRAY'S POV

     After answering the question, I turned my head towards the sunset, trying to change the topic, I turned towards Natsu again.
     " So, Natsu, what are you going to do now?" I asked.
     He turned around facing me, he took a couple seconds to register, his face turned pale. He grabbed my shoulder and shook me back and forth.  
     " I'm homeless, I don't have money, I don't have food!! I don't know anymore," he said, tears running down his rather attractive face crying a river [(literally) + ( I have a wife don't worry) + (is anyone genting a reference, or is it just me?)]
     I sweatdrop seeing how he reacted to my question, I can't help but blame my self. I dragged him to my home island without thinking about his well-being.
     " How about living in my house for the time being? Well.... If you don't have anywhere to stay...." I said, laughing nervously.
    " Really?!" He said, looking at me with puppy eyes.
    " Yes?" I answered.
   He shook my hands, and started crying tears of joy.
     " Dude, why are you crying?" I asked pulling my hands away and looked at him nervously.
     " *sniff* It's just that nobody *sniff* have ever been this n- *sniff* nice to me," he wailed louder than before.
    After that I asked mode questions like,
     " What do you mean by nobody?"
     " Have you ever been treated Nicely by Other people?"
     But, his answer was always,
     " *insert crying sounds* "
    Letting him have his moment, I just stared into the sunset.
