Chapter 3

Uncontrollable flames

*Previously*
"Talya." She said and for the first time , she smiled . He sat down next to her .
I could feel a weird feeling again but growing . My pulse went crazy . What is this feeling ? Could it be jealousy ? Am I jealous on my twin brother ? For what ?
"Let's play truth or dare ." Logan said .
God , please no .

Emilio's POV
"I agree ." Jake says giving a small smile to Erika . She smiles back at him .
Talya and Ivan we're talking about something but I couldn't really understand about what because they we're kind of whispering.
"We agree to play too ." Ivan said loudly .
The feeling inside my stomach was growing and growing . What can I do to stop it ? Or what can I do to at least know the cause ? I can't be jealous on my twin brother . Especially when I know his plan .
"Okay , Emilio ?" Logan's voice breaks my thoughts.
"What?" I respond without thinking about my words .
"Are you playing or not , bro?" Ivan says confused .
"Oh .. Y-Yeah ." I kind of manage to phrase my words .
"Let's start then ." Erika says and kisses Jake's cheek , making him blush .
"I start ." Logan says touching his hands one to the other . "Jake , truth or dare?" He asks Jake .
Jake looks at the dark sky for a couple seconds .
"Truth , bro ."
"Is it true that you made out with a boy when you were drunk last summer?" Logan said and bursted into laugh .
"Why to lie ? Yes , it is ." Jake said and everyone , including him , laughed really hard . I didn't . For some reason, my eyes were stuck on the beautiful blonde girl right in front of me , standing next to my twin brother . "Now it's my turn . Hm . Ivan ." He says and points at Ivan . "Truth or dare?" Talya raised her eyebrow looking at Ivan waiting for his answer .
"Dare." He said convinced that he made the right choice .
Oh no , not again . The feeling inside me went crazy this time . My palms turned into fists .
"I dare you to kiss Talya."

Ivan's POV
That's my boy Jake . And that's my boy Logan . We planned everything . Of course I didn't tell them about my plan . I told them that I like Talya . I have to admit that she is stunning and very mysterious . But I can't forgive her brother for doing what he did to me and my brother .
Talking about my brother , he looks really weird . Is he feeling well ?
"Kiss her ." Logan says . Oh , I was stuck in my thoughts . I almost forgot what I have to do .
I look deeply in her eyes to see if they hide something . They are so pure , and I can tell that they are agreeing with Jake's dare .
I go closer and closer to her face . I have to admit that my pulse went faster a little and I can feel hers going faster too . I slowly put my hands onto hers and connect our lips .
"Emilio !" I hear Jake's scream making me stood up instantly and break the kiss . What the hell?
"What happend?" I ask loudly and confused .
"Emilio just left into the woods ." Logan says .
"I'm going to find him." I say worried about him .
I don't even look at Talya , but I can feel her confused eyes on me as I leave .
I started going deeper and deeper into the woods to find Emilio . It was getting colder and colder and I did not know exactly where I was . I think this is the way back to the camp though.
"Emilio!" I shout when I finally spotted him .
He turns around and stops walking .
"What happend bro?" I asked him , concern in my voice .
"Nothing . I just don't feel right . I think is because of that pasta I ate a few hours ago for dinner ." He says quietly.
"Fine . Where are you going?"
"Back to our cabin . I am going to take a pill and go to sleep ." He says more quietly than the last time .
"I am coming with you ." I tell him .
"No bro , it's okay . Go back to Place 10." He says .
"There's no way I am leaving you go alone when you're sick . Let's head to the camp now ." I say and hug him .
Something tells me that the cause of his leaving is not the past that we had for dinner .

"Ivan , wake the fuck up ." Someone said and tossed a pillow at me .
"No ." I said with an uncontrollable deep morning voice that I hate having when I wake up .
"It's late . We missed breakfast and now we have to go directly to kitchen work . We are fucking alone in the cabin , everyone already left like hours ago ."
I open my eyes to see an angry Jake standing in front of me .
"I want you fully showered and dressed in ten minutes . Don't get us in much more trouble than we are already in ." He continued . I nodded and headed straight to the bathroom .

I continued and continued to cut the tomatoes into slices but they just don't just seem to end .
"Can't they just bite from them like they do with apples ?" I ask , completely annoyed .
"Would you do that , idiot ?" Jake laughs . Of course he laughs , he has only to mix the veggies into salad after I chop all of them .
"No." I respond simply .
After like twenty more minutes of chopping and chopping, I got to the last tomato .
The weird thing is that all the day my only thought has been Talya . I think I like her . But I won't forget my plan . I never think with my heart , I only think with my brain . Though , I have to admit , I am finding her very interesting and similar to myself .
The kiss last night ... I wish it was longer . Only if Emilio ...
Oh my God . Emilio .
I get off my dirty t-shirt in the middle of the kitchen and grab a clean one from my backpack laying on the floor .
I changed and grab a bottle of water even though we are not allowed to serve ourselves with things from the kitchen .
I must be a rebel . I laugh to myself . This is probably the smallest rebellious act I have ever done .
"The fuck you doing ?" Jake asks completely confused .
Yeah , we have to add olive oil to the salads now . But I guess I did enough for today and Jake can take care of it himself . I need to find my twin brother now .
"Emilio said last night that he wasn't feeling well and I have to check on him up really quick. Though I don't think I am going to be back here today again .. Is it okay bro ? You know me .." I make puppy eyes .
Jake laughs .
"Go . You played the chef enough today." He says and high-fives me .
I smile and grab my backpack from the floor while leaving the kitchen .
I go straight up to our cabin because I know that between these hours we are allowed to do whatever we want to and Emilio's 100% reading .
I open the door to see my twin reading the same book he was reading yesterday . I am always right when it comes to Emilio .
"How are you feeling bro ?" I ask him .
"Good ." He says quietly. What is happening to him?
"Uhm. Are you sure?" I ask one more time . "I want the truth."
"Ivan , I'm not a baby ." He slightly laughs .
"Something is wrong with you . I can feel it . We are twins , you know ." I continue , really wanting the truth .
"Ivan , I'm..."
He is being interrupted by Logan entering the room .
"Guys there's a storm coming . The owner wants us all tonight after the sun goes down in the activities room . We are probably going to see a movie or something." He said way too excited . He even clapped his hands .
We were both looking at him trying to make him leave so we can talk .
"Oh . I should leave." He finally reads our thoughts. Thank God . No one cares about that stupid storm and that stupid movie . Or at least I don't .
He left the room whispering a "Sorry ." and letting a small laugh get out between his teeth .

Emilio's POV
"As I was saying .." I try to convince Ivan that everything's right even if it's not , mostly because I don't even know myself what's happening, but I am once more interrupted.
I was almost going to snap at Jake for entering the cabin , but he is too quick speaking .
"Emilio , I have something for you." Jake says holding a small piece of paper in his hands .
Me and Ivan sigh both at the same time loudly . I have to admit .. Having a twin is cool mostly .
Anyways , I rush to the door where my friend was standing and grab the piece of paper from his hands .
"What is this?" I ask , pure annoyance in my voice .
"A note , Emilio." He laughs .
I swear I wanted to punch him , but took a deep breath and opened the note instead .
While reading this , my heart went crazy again .
"Meet me tonight at the docks ."
The person who has written this did not mention their name . Should I go ? What if I get in trouble ? Who can be ?
