Lauren: I woke up in an all too familiar surroundings. My head was pounding and I felt really weak. Although I didn’t know where I was and what had happened I knew I was in the hospital. I looked around for anyone and I saw 5 sleeping boys on the ground, cover with hospital blankets. I laughed and was touched that they were here. The clock read 3:40 in the morning and I was pretty confused of what happened last night. I reached over to press the ‘nurse’ button on my hospital remote. It mad a loud buzzing noise and I cringed and imminently looked at the boys. They didn’t move a muscle until the nurse came barging in. “Hello, honey are you ok?” she hustled into the room partially tripping over the sleeping Niall. He jumped up and made some weird noise but then rolled over and went back to sleep like nothing happened. “Oh sorry hun.” She muttered not realizing that there were so many people in the room. “Well, well you got quite a nice group of fellas here.” She winked at me and I gave her a little fake half smile. Before I even got a chance to speak she started again. “Okay so, what’s wrong?” she said very sweetly. “What happened last night?” I said. She came over and very casually sat down on my bed. “Last night you were at a club, and you got a fever and passed out.” She reached down and took the clipboard off of my bed. “Your levels were high, but with another night they should drop then you should be free to go.” she smiled, patted me on the leg and put the clip board back. She left the room and I tried to remember last night. I couldn’t come up with any thoughts. My eyes wondered back to the clock and it was just a little after 4. I knew no one would be awake for a while so I laid there while the steady sound of my heart monitor made me drift back into a sleep …
Harry: “Alright boys, wakey wakey.” I opened my eyes and everywhere hurt. I made a face while rubbing my back. My vision was foggy but I adjusted to see a doctor staring at us. “I broke the rules for you but visiting hours are over and you will just have to wait in the waiting room. Only one close member is allowed in here at a time and her mother is on her way.” He spoke fast and formally. This was all too much for my brain and I just wanted to go back to sleep. “Wait.” My sleepy voice cracked and I fixed my brown curls. “Hmm.” The doctor said without even looking at me, he picked up a clipboard and started reading it. “Can I stay with her until he mother gets here?” I stood up and finally spoke clearly. “And who are you?” he shot me a look. “Her boyfriend.” I responded. He shot me an approving look and then left the room. The confused, sleepy boys waved goodbye and then left as well. I found my way over to a chair across the room and sat down in it. My body pain released and I sighed in relief. I didn’t know why I didn’t sleep in this chair in the first place. I dismissed the thought and turned to the clock 5:49. I closed my eyes, tired. A couple moments later I heard running in the hall, and someone yelling for them to stop. I cringed at this, I hated hospitals. However, the running just didn’t stop, it entered the room. I heard footsteps behind the lady as well. “Ma’am you can’t enter right now, someone else is already in there.” The nurse tried to tell the lady. With my eyes still closed I listened to the woman snap back, and I imminently knew it was Laurens mother. “Oh can it, this is my daughter, sue me.” I fluttered open my eyes, for it didn’t want her mother to have to be ejected from the room because I was still him here. I sat up, still tired at smiled. “Hello, it’s alright I’ll just wait in the waiting room until visiting hours.” I croaked. When her mother realized I was in the room she came and ran over to me and I quickly hopped up from the seat. “Ah Harry, thank you so much darling for being with her right now.” She grabbed both side of my face and kissed me on the cheeks. Still holding my face she began to talk to me again. “Come back at visiting hours and stay with her so I can get some breakfast.” I nodded and then she let go of me. “Now, go get some rest Mr. Styles.” he waved me away without even looking at me. I made my way to the waiting room, where surprisingly my four other band mates were. I walked up to them while ruffling my curls. “Erm…what are you guys still doing here?” I asked I haven’t really woken up completely yet. Before they boys could even get a word out, I laid eyes on Paul, and so did the others. Shit, we were in trouble. “What the hell do you think you’re doing? Do you realize the jeopardy you put yourselves in, plus Lauren?” I blocked him out while he was going off on a rant. He spoke some more and then in defeat he sat down on a chair and rubbed his face. “So how is she?” he finally spoke? We told him the whole story and everything that happened. “Alright, well you need to go say goodbye, you have the Today Show at noon.” He said looking at his watch. My face flushed and my heart stopped. I wasn’t going to leave her, I couldn’t. “Paul…” I began to speak and he shot me a deathly stair. “You can’t make me leave her, please. You have to understand.” My voice was drained and so was I. The stress was killing me and I slumped down onto the hospital chair. “Sorry mate, but you have to do what you have to do.” I heard remorse in his voice, but it wasn’t good enough. I looked around for support, but I couldn’t find any from the boys. “Paul…Please…” I was on my last attempt before I was fully mentally drained. “I can’t leave her, I love her.”
