Everyone says that,
when you lose hope in life,
you have to find faith in
something.
Mom keeps telling me
I need to have faith in myself
so I can make things right.
I need to have faith in God,
that he will make the things I can't control
better.
And
so I can get into heaven,
with her.
I've shaken my head
and bit my tongue.
It wasn't until today,
when I heard you were coming home,
that I found faith in anything.
