Amelia studied in Germany for 5 years. She's back in Kansas with her older brother and his best friend. Nothing's changed but did her feelings for her brothers best friend change?
We've been living in the Brock house for about a month now and I've had endless fun. We all usually go eat or skate. I woke up at 10 on Sunday. I was on my phone and I herd a knock. "Come in!" I see Gauge and Colby walk in and they sat down next to me. "Hey what are we doing today?" I shrugged and they thought for a second. "Laser tag?" Colby suggested and I nodded and so did Gauge. "K I'll tell sam." I got up and went to the bathroom to shower.

I walked out looking emo as always and Colby, Sam and I waited down stairs for Gauge. "You look really pretty." Colby said shyly scratching the back of his head. I kinda looked down at my feet. "Thank you. You look really good yourself." He kinda blushed and Gauge came downstairs. "Hey let's use my car! I'm driving." The boys didn't know I had a new car. We walked out and their jaws dropped as they looked at my new mustang. "Since when have you owned this?" I laughed and we got it. "My dad gave it to me and Sam as a early bday present since my mom and dad moved." They smiled and we drove to laser tag.
Colby's POV:
Sam and I were in the back seat of Amelia's new car and Gauge and her were in the front. I was scared Gauge liked her even though he had a girlfriend. I like Amelia but she probably doesn't like me. I just sat in silence as they sat there laughing. I texted Sam how I felt.
To Sam: Dude. I like Amelia. A lot.
From Sam: I can tell. Why don't you ask her out.
To Sam: That's your sister. I can't do that. Also her and Gauge had a thing. That's your sister and my brothers ex.
From Sam: Damn. Dude wait it out and if she acts the same. Ask her out.
I nodded and he nodded too. We got to the laser tag place and we split into teams. "Ok me and Gauge are team captions." I yelled and I knew who I wanted to pick. "Me first. I want Amelia." I saw her face light up and Gauges tone down.
Amelia's POV:
I was kinda happy when Colby picked me. He's cute and sweet and oh god I think I like Colby. It was siblings against siblings. Colby and I went to the side and made a game plan. "Hide in the best spot don't get shot and if you see them shoot them of course but if they see you. Find a new spot." I nodded and Colby leaned in and our faces were again inches apart till they yelled go. Colby and I stuck together.
I had the best time and then we all decided to get pizza. We went to our favorite pizza place and all ate. Sam didn't eat cause he hates pizza. Next week the boys last day of school, then it was summer and they were done with school. Colby and Sam are skipping and Gauge is going to his girlfriends house.
