Amelia's POV:

It was the end of our trip and so Sam, Colby, Corey and I all flew back to LA. We got back and I crashed on my bed. I woke up to see a dark shadow towering over me and I swung. "Fuck. AMELIA!" I rub my eyes and saw Colby holding his nose. I jumped up and grabbed him. "Babe. Babe. Oh my are you ok?" He nodded and removed his hands. His nose was bleeding out of a small cut. I shot up and ran to our bathroom for rubbing alcohol and a bandaid. I cleaned and covered his nose and apologized 200 more times. We decided to watch a movie while everyone went out.

It was 2:40 in the morning and no one was home. I checked my phone and Corey said they were all staying at a friends house. So it was just me and Colby all night. The dogs were all in the room with us and I herd the door creek open. Colby was next to me and so were the dogs. I check the camera and it was a robber. "Colby wake up." I whisper to Colby. "Someone's breaking in." Colby popped up and grabbed a bat. "Stay here." He walked out and I ignored his command. I went to my night stand and pulled out my 9 mil. I lock a bullet in the chamber and went down stairs. I see the robber and Colby fighting. "COLBY DUCK!" Colby does as I say and I started shooting. I hit the guy in the leg with the first shot and he fell. Then I shot him in the stomach. I grabbed my phone and called the cops. I look over and Colby's holding his lower chest. I run to him and I see blood. "Oh my god. Babe. Stay with me. Ok? The cops are coming and the paramedics too. It's gonna be ok." I cried while holding Colby. The cops came and got the man in to the ambulance. Then the paramedics came and got Colby. "Ma'am are you gonna come with him to the hospital?" I nodded and jumped into the ambulance. We got to the hospital and they rushed him to surgery. I pulled my phone out and called Sam.

"Amelia. It's 3 in the morning! What's up?" I sobbed into the phone. "Someone broke in and shot Colby. He's in bad shape. I shot the guy in the leg and stomach and now I'm at the hospital. I'm scared." Everyone rushed to the hospital and met me in the waiting room with food for me.

     I paced the waiting room while everyone sat there waiting impatiently. "Family of Mr. Brock." I raised my hand and walked to the doctor. "Hi you are?" The doctor asked me and I answered. "Amelia Golbach. Colby is my Fiancé." He nodded and told me what is going on. "He has some band damage but lucky none of his organs were hit. He will wake up tomorrow hopefully. For now only family may see him." I nodded and thanked the doctor as I told everyone. "Amelia you gonna come home?" I shook my head at Corey. "No I'm gonna go to Colby's room and sleep there." They nodded and handed me clothes. I went to the nurse and asked for Colby's room. I walked into the room and saw Colby sleeping with a ton of bandages on him. I nearly cried at sight but I knew I had to stay strong. I sat next to him and sang the song we herd on our first date. 'Thinking out loud.' It's become our song and that's all we listen to.
