It was the 14th of June and my 16th birthday neared. I had convinced myself, that everything that had happened the one night was a dream. I hadn't had another dream ever since, so I decided to drop it. If I would tell my parents, they'll  think I'm crazy and worry about me.

I was just about to call Carrie to invite her over for dinner, when the doorbell rang. Not caring to look who it was, I opened the door and took in a sharp breath. Julian and his little brother Lucas, including turtle the turtle, stood outside. "Uhm" I coughed "Hi?" Julian looked a bit uncomfortable and looked everywhere but me. That's when I remembered what I just came out of the shower and just threw on panties and a shirt, that barely covered them. "Sorry" I said, my cheeks bright red. "Be right back" I sprinted upstairs to put on some pants and a cardigan and I'm prayed that this will never be mentioned again. Though I'm pretty sure Julian caught a good glimpse of my butt when I ran off.

When I came back downstairs, Julian and Lucas were already sitting on the sofa as if they didn't just walk into a stranger's home. Well, not complete stranger, but still. "Okay" I sais, trying to get their attention. Julian Kidd was typing on his phone with his brow furrowed, while Lucas Kidd stroke his turtle. Julian looked up at me and I scratched the back of my head awkwardly. "So, do you need anything, or do you show up like that in all your neighbor's living rooms?" Julian cracked a little smile. Not a smile. A smirk. "Actually", he started and again I noticed his deep, husky voice. "I was going to ask, if you could watch after Luke for a while"

He pointed at the boy beside him. Lucas, or Luke like his brother called him, didn't even seem to notice us talking. "Because...?" "Mum and Rob are out working, Seb is at the academy and I gotta run to the store" He shot me a pleading look. "Won't be long, I promise" Something in his voice or his eyes made me give in. Or the combination of both. "Fine" I finally said. Julian stood up. "Be right back, Luke. Be a good boy" then started walking towards the door, stopping in front of me for a few seconds. "Thanks" he said, his voice low. "And... you didn't have to get dressed just for me" he winked and left the room. "Jerk" I muttered, but Julian was long gone.
