12: Please?

The night went by fast. Carlos asked Kendall if he could sleep over at his house because he was afraid to walk home alone in the dark. They called their moms, and it was ok for them. Carlos' mom knew that Mama Knight would take good care of her boy for a night.

Logan paid for all of the pizzas, even tho Calos surprised him, and everybody else in general, with a very big appetite and a very hungry stomach. But who cared? At least they had fun!

Carlos had been the fifth wheel, but hadn't bothered anyone. Kendall and Logan would give each other quick pecks every now and then, but James and Mathea didn't kissed.

James didn't kissed on the first date, and it was a simple reason to that.

Over the years, as James had dated countless girls, he had experienced that it was so much easier for him to stop dating the girl if she started getting bitchy already on the first date. Then they wouldn't have a bond, and everything was just much easier.

"Thank you guys for an amazing night! I had so much fun!"

Mathea hugged James as she got out of Kendalls BMW.

No one took notice of Carlos, who sank down in his car seat next to James

"Me too," James answered to her. "We totally gotta do this again sometime! Good night, baby girl!"

They hugged again, and Carlos sank further down in the seat.

It was just a five minute ride to James' house. Kendall dropped him off, and James thanked them for the night before he went inside of his house.

"Well, this was fun! Hanging out with my bestfriends and my newly found boyfriend... I'm so happy right now" Kendall smiled.

"Yeah, me too," Logan smiled and agreed.

"What do you think, Carlos? Was it fun?"

"Huh? Yeah, superfun!"

Carlos sat there, totally spaced out, just staring out of the window. Sure, it had been fun. Sure, he loved being with his friends.

But he was so close, but yet so far away...

"C'mon, you chicken! Ask him, you know he's gonna say yes," Carlos whispered to Kendall.

Earlier that night, while Logan, James and Mathea had talked about a movie, Kendall had played a little round of truth or dare. It was Kendall who had challenged Carlos to eat so much. As a revenge, Carlos had challenged Kendall to ask Logan if he wanted to sleep over.

Logan was just about to open the door to his house when Kendall rolled down his car window and shouted out his name.

"Logie! Logie, could you please come here for a moment?"

"Sure?" Logan said as he walked back to the car.

"What is it?"

"I was wondering if you... You know, wanted to sleep over... Like, you know, a boys night... Since Carlos is already coming with me...?"

Kendall blushed. There, he had said it.

He had wanted to ask Logan about it anyways. And when Carlos challenged him to do it... Well, that was the little push he had needed.

Logan scratched his neck. He really wanted to go. Maybe he and Kendall could have some time for themselves if Carlos fell asleep early...?

"I would love to, I really would! But I have to ask my parents, since I'm only 17," Logan sighted.
