On the run... again

Cade pov

    We waited for Lucas to get back with other supplies we needed, so we worked on other things to pass the time. Optimus asked me," Why are you helping me?"

I answered," Well, cause it's the right thing to do."

We continued to work, till we heard Lucas' car. I walked outside and asked," What took you so long?"

"I had to go to the doctor, and find all the stuff on your list, which was not easy."

I ignored the comment, and walked back inside. I began to work on the stuff that still needed to complete, and Sharon and her friends helped a lot. We worked all day and we still had work to do, so I asked if Sharon and her friends wanted to spend the night with us. They decided to stay and we stayed in the barn talking to Optimus before went to sleep.

Eagle/Sharon pov

I woke up earlier than the others to do my morning routine. I got up and stretched, and this went on for awhile, till Optimus opened his optics. He asked," Why are you up so early, Sharon?"

I told him,"I'm used to getting up early and taking a run. My dad does, so one day I got up and ran with him one day, and I kind of just kept going with him."

"An interesting habit, I usually get up early to think. It's the only time it's quiet."

"I agree, being a leader is hard. Especially, when you just want to relax, and not have, everyone ask you a question every minute."

"Indeed it is."

I finished my stretches and told Optimus,"If I'm not back when everyone wakes up tell them I'm out running."

He nodded and I walked out of the barn and started running. 

Time skip 

I was done running after two hours and decided to go back. I walked into our house and grabbed a pair of clothes and took a shower. When I was done, I walked back to the barn, and everyone was back to work. Kate asked," How was your run?"

"It was great, there was even a cool breeze."

I went to go finish Optimus' communication system, and in a few hours I was finished and was installing it. Then, I heard Tessa call for her dad. And he walked out of the barn. I looked out of the window and saw government trucks. I told Optimus," You need to hide."

We looked around for a place to hide and we saw a hole in the floor. We got him in the hiding spot when government agents came in and dragged us outside.

Wiccan pov

The government agents came and took us outside. One of the guys told him we were in the other building. The guy in charge listened to something in his com. He told his men to handcuff us,' I guess they figured out who we were.'

But, before they did, the guy was threatening to shoot Tessa.  When, he got to one, Optimus came crashing out the barn exclaiming," You wanted me, here I am!"

The team and I took the opportunity to get away from the agents. We ran towards our house to quickly grab our gear. I was the last to enter the house and I put it on lockdown to give us some time to get ready. I then quickly ran to my room and put on my uniform and met everyone in the garage. Everyone except me grabbed there bikes, while I flew behind them. We saw Cade, Tessa, and Lucas enter a car, so we decided to follow them.

Sharpshot/Kate pov

We followed the car till we were able to get along side it. On the passenger side Cade rolled down the window. Sharon told him," We'll keep the cars away just keep driving. And also, who is that?"

The guy driving answered,"I'm Shane, Tessa's boyfriend."

I thought to myself,' I didn't know she had a boyfriend.'

The cars were getting closer and I signaled to Sharon, she looked back and saw them. She said to me," Aim for the tires on the right car, I'll get the left."

And, we got to work, we put our bikes on autopilot and got out our weapons. I got my crossbow, and Sharon got out a gun she kept hidden. She and I aimed for the tires and shot the front two of each car. We headed towards a car parking garage, and tried to lose the others. Shane was driving towards a ramp and we followed. We all made it down and had a soft enough landing. The cars chasing us couldn't fit and ran into the wall. Our bikes landed a good 30 feet away from the car, which looked totally damaged.

Optimus then drove up and Cade and the others got out and ran towards us. Lucas, I saw, had his foot stuck in the seatbelt and came out last. Suddenly, another robot came and dropped what looked like a bomb, and we urged the others to run faster. The bomb exploded, and we looked and saw Lucas didn't make it away in time. Cade, Tessa, and Shane got in Optimus and we drove off in silence.

Kid Arachnid/Miles pov

We rode in silence, taking in what had just happened. Lucas was dead and we were on the run from the government. We stopped at and abandoned gas station, and when Cade, Tessa, and Shane got out of him, Optimus transformed and said," I am sorry for your friend. I will look around to ensure we we not followed."

Then, he left, the rest of us went inside and we wondered what we were going to do now. Cade grabbed one of the drones that the government was using and we went to a ATM close by. We saw Cade's account had been locked already, so we returned to the gas station to get some rest.

Time skip

The next day we were driving on the highway, Optimus on the way scanned a truck going the other way and copied its appearance. I tried not to laugh as I saw the looks on Cade, Tessa, and her boyfriend's face when it happened. Then, Optimus radioed to any other autobots saying," Calling all autobots."

We then, went to a desert, and we pulled up to see Bumblebee, Drift, Hound, and Crosshairs.
