The table was silent. Nobody wanted to be the first one to speak, knowing the topic at hand. Oikawa sighed lightly before opening his mouth to talk. "Seems everyone knows today's topic. It seems between us, and the smaller kingdoms. Tensions have risen a bit." Oikawa spoke in a cool tone. Bokuto scoffed lightly.
"I wonder why that is." He remarked. Oikawa sent a glare towards the male.
"Something on your mind?" Oikawa hummed out in a sarcastic tone.
"I was just thinking, the tensions started growing when you invaded the other kingdoms." Bokuto retorted. The brunette king opened his mouth to say something but Suga quickly cut him off.
"Stop it you two. Everyone wants to avoid war as much as possible ." Suga said in a stern tone. The two silently nodded before relaxing a little. After the tense air calmed Kenma spoke.
"I agree with King Sugawara, war isn't the answer." He spoke in a quiet tone. "We should't focus on what might be, we should focus on the present and how to avoid war." Kenma finished before looking back into his book. The table was quite for awhile before Bokuto said something.

"Kenma has a point. Let's try and stop the bad before it happens." He agreed. Oikawa sighed before nodding.
"I suppose he has a point. My people don't need any attacks." The brunette hummed out. "Have any suggestions?" He asked with a smirk. Suga gulped lightly before speaking.
"To lower tensions....it may be wise to stop taking over smaller kingdoms." He suggested with a nervous smile. Oikawa rolled his eyes at the comment.
"Really now? Last time I checked I haven't harmed any of your kingdoms. I don't see the big deal." The King responded.
"I think what King Sugawara is trying to say is, the more you take, the more threatened others feel." Daichi cut in. The four looked at the knight, slightly shocked he spoke. Knights were mostly silent during the meetings so this was knew. Daichi bit his lip before bowing a apology. "But that's just what I think." He quickly mumbled.
"Thank you Daichi..." The grey haired king quickly said. The brunette king sent a glare towards Daichi before putting on a fake smile.
"Fine then. To lower the chances of war I will temporarily stop my quest for land." Oikawa agreed, making sure to emphasize 'temporarily.'

The other three kings nodded their heads in agreement. Bokuto smiled. "Thank you for cooperating." He chuckled quietly. Kenma quickly cleared his throat.
"Now that's done, can we go now?" He asked in a bored tone. Suga rolled his eyes at the blonde.
"Not yet, we still have a lot of smaller things to work out." He replied with a laugh. Kuroo patted his kings shoulder before the others took out some documents. Kenma let out a quiet groan before grabbing his own papers.
"Ok, let's start with the food and grain trades." Suga started with a bright smile. The others nodded in agreement.

The meeting from there on went relatively peaceful till Oikawa brought up the topic of boundaries. Everyone became uneasy again. Oikawa chuckled.
"I'm just saying, I didn't take any of you land. I see no reason to give it up." He hummed out. Kenma spoke first, surprisingly.
"While that is true, you have gained much more than the rest of us. I'm not saying you'll have to give it up, but I think we should have a separate meeting about-" He got out before Oikawa cut Kenma off.
"Why? Is there a problem?" He asked. "I took the land, rightfully it's mine." He argued.
"Tell that to the people you slaughtered to get the land." Bokuto muttered. The four guards glanced at each other as the tension grow as if to say 'who's moving first?' Suga suddenly spoke up.
"Everyone calm down. Oikawa you are somewhat right but so is King Kenma. The matter of what to do with the land is tricky. We will discuss that later." The male lectured, standing up a bit. The three looked at him, the brunette gave him a grin.
"You have a point, let's dismiss everyone for today." He hummed out before getting up. The others nodded and began gathering their paper work. Sugawara began heading towards the door, suddenly a hand wrapped itself around his wrist. The grey haired king turned around to see Oikawa looking down at him with a smirk. "That was a nice little speech. Maybe be we could talk more?" He asked. Suga opened his mouth to reply but suddenly a he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned around and saw Daichi, with a very unhappy look plastered on his face.
