Suga groaned in annoyance as he got up. To say he wasn't happy about going to this meeting was a huge understatement. There was multiple reasons but he could minimize it to three if he had to. The first reason was the clothing. While the young king preferred to wear more simple clothes he had to wear formal robes that 'weigh a ton.' According to him. The second one was the long ride, bumpy to the meeting hall. The four largest kingdoms built a fort that was near a crossroads that connected them. They would have these meeting about once every three months. He knew he should be use to the uncomfortable rides but he never could. The last reason was the most complicated, it was his fellow kings and their guards. Now not all of them were annoying...Kenma and Akaashi were quite. The other two were a handful plus the guards would usually find something to fight about. Oikawa would always make smug remarks or threats to put everyone on edge or Bokuto would do something stupid. The grey haired male rubbed his temples. Just thinking about the meeting would give him a headache.

"Are you alright?" Yamguchi asked nervously as he put the crown on the kings head, finishing his outfit. Suga took a deep breath and looked at himself in the mirror. He cringed slightly as he saw himself. The formal wear did make him look like a king but not like himself. Suga shook his head and smiled gently at Yamguchi.
"I'm fine. I'm just nervous about the meeting...." He explained with a sigh. The freckled male gave the king a sympathetic smile.
"Good luck today, me and Tsuki will keep an eye on everyone while you and Daichi are gone." He assured before getting up. Suga chuckled at this and smiled.
"Thank you for the reassurance. I trust the castle with still be standing if I leave for a bit." He joked. Yamguchi laughed and nodded.
"Of course your highness." He replied before leaving the room.

The brown eyed male looked himself over one last time before leaving the room. As soon as he left the room he was met by Daichi and Tsukishima.
"I left some documents and a book for you to read in the carriage so the ride wouldn't be so boring." The blond haired assistant mentioned to the king. Suga nodded his head.
"Thank you, I'll see you later. Please don't let anything break." He snickered before heading towards the carriage. Daichi chuckled at this comment before hurrying off after the king. Suga breathed in the fresh air as he got outside. The knight smiled happily at the kings peaceful expression.
"Your Highness, we should get going now." Daichi pointed out. The king opened his eyes and sighed.
"I suppose you're right." He said before heading towards the carriage. Nishinoya waved to the pair.
"Good morning your Highness, morning Daichi!" The shorter knight hollered while waving his hand. "I'll be driving today!" He explained while trying to climb up into the seat. Suga and Daichi both bit their lips to hold back their laughter as Noya failed to get up.

Daichi opened his mouth to say something but stopped when the knight shot the pair a glare. Suddenly Asahi came looked into view. The taller male smiled at the group and put the basket he was holding down. He walked over and lifted Noya into the seat. Noya huffed lightly in annoyance but smiled at the gentle gardener.
"Here," Asahi started before putting a daisy in the males hair. "Be safe." The brunette finished. He turned and faced the others. "As to you two, please come back safely." He said. Daichi chuckled and rolled his eyes.
"Asahi calm your nerves, Our king's got two highly trained knights protecting him. We're not gonna let anything bad happen to him." Daichi stated in a proud tone. Suddenly Suga cleared his throat causing everyone to look at him.
"Can we please get on the rode? It's a long trip and I don't wanna be late." The male hummed out with an annoyed smile. The three gulped at the expression.
"Y-yes, have a nice trip!" Asahi yelped before hurrying off. Daichi laughed lightly before opening the carriage door for Suga. The king nodded before hopping in quickly, Daichi following suit.  Suga got comfortable in his seat before opening his book. Daichi crossed his arms and watched the male with a light smile. The carriage soon started moving forward.

After reading a few chapters from his book Suga put down the book and rubbed his eyes. He looked over at the black haired male across from him and noticed that he was spacing out. The king smiled before snapping his fingers, bringing Daichi back to reality. "Nows not the time to be in dream land." Suga scolded in a joking tone. Daichi chuckled and lowered his head.
"I apologize my king. I was just thinking of something." Daichi apologized in a overly formal tone. The shorter male rolled his eyes.
"About what?" He questioned.
"Remember when you and I stole a plate of cookies from the kitchen? And when your dad found out he took the blame so your mom wouldn't be mad." Daichi replied with a happy grin. The kings eyes went wide before he starting laughing.
"I do, I also remember it was your idea." Suga said while crossing his arms.
"Now I don't remember that part." Daichi joked. The younger male hummed and looked out the window.
"You know it's almost the sixth year anniversary since..." The male trailed off not finishing his sentence. Daichi gently placed a hand on his friends knee.
"They would be proud of you." Daichi said trying to give his friend some reassurance. Suga smiled lightly at this.
"I know, but now isn't the time to think about them." He stated. "I need to have a clear head and focus on the meeting. The problems of today are more important." Suga finished. Daichi smiled and nodded.
"Of course. Please just remember you can talk to me." Daichi remarked kindly. Suga nodded at this and felt the carriage stop.

Nishinoya ran around the front and opened the door. The brunette bowed quickly.
"Here you are, your highness." The guard said as Suga stepped out of the carriage. The king quickly thanked the male before heading towards the entrance. Daichi glanced around and noticed two other carriages. He knew the red and black one belonged to Nekoma but he always confused Aobajosai's and Fukurōdani carriages. Daichi followed the shorter male closely as they walked. Soon the pair made it into the meeting hall and we're greeted by Daichi's fellow knight Kuroo and King Bokuto.
"Hey, hey, hey. See you beat the grand king here!" Bokuto joked with a loud laugh. Kuroo chuckled lightly.
"King Sugawara, I hope you're doing well." The raven haired knight said with a bow. Suga nodded and smiled rather falsely .
"You as well Kuroo. Excuse me, I'm going to go speak with King Kenma for a moment." The king said before heading towards the table. Daichi sighed as he was left with the two.
"So mighty Daichi, how are things in Karasuno?" The white haired male asked.
"Well things are going ok, I'm sure you have heard of the chances of war." Daichi replied in a calm tone. "But you should know that better than anyone, your highness." He remarked as he made eye contact with Bokuto.
"Heh, I trust your king will be on the right side if he chooses to fight? Because he doesn't seem to exactly have an army to protect him." Kuroo cut in with narrowed eyes. Daichi sent the male a glare.
"Should I considered that a threat?" He mumbled in a low voice. The two others grinned at the males annoyance.
"You don't have to worry about us doing anything, you just have to worry about King Oikawa." Bokuto said before crossing his arms.
"And would you look at that, he just arrived." Kuroo remarked while looking out the window. Daichi peeked over the males shoulder only to see Iwaizumi helping the brunette out of the carriage.

"We should go take our spots." Daichi pointed out before walking away from the two towards the grey haired king. Sugawara was chatting quietly with King Kenma and Akaashi, Bokuto's knight. Daichi bent down and leaned closely to Suga. "King Oikawa just arrived your highness." He whispered quietly. The king instantly straightened up and nodded. The knight took a step back and stood behind the male. The other two quickly got into their spots and everyone waited silently as everyone became aware of the males presence. Time passed slowly till the large doors finally opened.
"Hello everyone." Oikawa chirped happily as he entered the room, his guard following closely behind.
"Nice to see you Oikawa." Suga said from his spot. The rest of the kings gave the male some form of greeting before the king took his seat. The guards all exchanged looks with Iwaizumi and nodded their heads in acknowledgment of each other. Oikawa flashed everyone his killer smile.
"Shall we start the meeting?" The brunette hummed out.
