It Was Love In A College Town

Chapter 1

Ambers POV
Me and my best friends are starting our junior year at Georgia Southern in a week so we are moving into our dorms today. We grew up together in the small town of Leesburg, Georgia and have known each other since the diaper days. I have friendzoned Luke since 5th grade when he first asked me out. I just don't want to ruin our friendship by being in a relationship. My other best friend Kat (her real name is Katherine and most people call her Katie but I'm not most people). She dated Luke our sophmore year of high school and they are still really close. Luke and Kat basically live at my house when we're in Leesburg. It's great to have such close friends but because of Luke I've never had a boyfriend. That's kinda a long story but we will just say he scares every guy that talks to me away and leave it at that. It's kind of annoying but I know he's just doing it because he cares about me. *knock knock* Kat was at the door. "Bout time ya got here girl, I almost have all my crap unpacked" I said pulling her in for a hug. "Having a Bryan bear hug without the me I see" I hear Luke yell from down the hall. "Luther" I yelled running to Luke and jumping into his arms. If you're wondering why I'm so excited to see them when we live in the same town it's because they both have been on vacation with their families for the past week. "Hey Kitty" Luke said waving at Kat. "Hey Luke" she said walking towards us. We all call each other some pretty strange things sometimes so don't be surprised if we call each other something stupid. "So how was your vacation grahams" Kat asked Luke. "Pretty good marshmallow" Luke said. I just laughed because they hadn't called each other that since the summer after senior year when Luke looked the color of a graham cracker and Kat was obsessed with marshmallows. The girl could eat a whole bag of the jumbo ones herself. Luke has gotten way darker since that summer and I think I may be falling for him...
