A/N: Here you go! I promise next chapter will be more exciting. Let's just get into the mood people, shall we?

Sky’s  POV

“Yo, Sky! Get over here!”

Well shit. So much for not getting caught by a fucking rapist. But wait, how the heck does he knows my name?

As I get closer, I realize that it’s a group of five guys all huddled up in their black hoodies pulled up to their noses, along with a few girls hanging in between their arms. They are all leaning against a dark brick wall, under a small shield from the rain.

Yeah right, and it is Brandon that called me over. By the smirks on the face of Jesse and Zach I can sense that something is going on.

“What are you guys doing here?”

“Umm, hiding from the fans?” Jesse lets out a laugh, before going back to smoke his cigarette. Ugh, cowards. Still, I decide to shut up, my eyes darting between them, trying to pick up what’s really going on.

“We all thought you got home Sky…” Brandon says, before thoughtlessly pulling the brown haired girl closer to his chest. His girlfriend, I guess.

“Umm yeah, I was just heading actually…” I say, as I am about to leave. Clearly, I don’t belong here. I don’t even know them. Ugh, I hate the attention they’re giving me now. Screw you, Brandon, no matter how cute you are in that fucking hoodie.

“No, come on Sky, stay a bit… You don’t even have a car…” he says, while the others clearly let out a snicker. I hate them so much. But seriously, I must be real stupid to think that I’ll be able to get home walking in this weather. I decide against my thoughts, and go on to get myself a shelter by the wall.

Seeing that they are all taking a drag, I open my bag and take out my own pack of cigarette out, quickly putting one in between my lips. I fumble through my bag for a lighter, but miserably don’t find one.

“You guys have a light?” I ask, somewhat embarrassed.

“Yeah, come over…” says Jesse. Well fuck.

He holds the light close to my face, and I lean on it a bit, so that the breeze won’t extinguish it. It only takes a few seconds, but by the time I pull away, I realize that I was only inches away from Jesse’s face. He remarks it as well and somewhat grins at me. I whisper a small ‘Thanks’ as I am attempted to scoff, but quickly hide it by taking a puff.

“Soo… You’ve had a pretty nice gig tonight right?” asks Jeremy, as he realizes the awkward situation.

“Nah, I doubt they liked it.” I wince as I continue to slowly smoke in front of Jesse.

“Are you kidding me? Those people were fucking screaming your songs...”suddenly interrupts Mikey for the first time.

“I don’t know dude…” I mumble, mostly to myself, as a loud thunder rings from the sky, scaring the shit out of me. Jesse only smiles, as I perpetually make a fool of myself. Duh, I definitely do not belong.

The rest of them continue talking to each other, the girls letting out a few giggles and making jokes a few times in the conversation. Observing them, they do not look like the usual groupies. It’s almost as they were ‘friends’ with them. It isn’t a surprise though that they’re hanging out with a gang like Jesse’s. They belong here.  They are pretty girls; Californian girls, with sun-kissed skin and ocean-wave hair, crop tops showing off their belly piercings and glossy lips. A bit slutty, yes.

Ha, as if I am any better; I bet we can see my fucking nipple piercing through my wet shirt. That’s worst. Thank God there’s barely any light here.
