Some people come into your life to teach you something or to give you something, or to simply change your world. Then they walk out, and most of the time, never come back; and that's okay, because some people were never meant to stay. I know it can be heartbreaking because most often, these are the most amazing people you've met; the kindest, the wisest, the most patient, the funniest, the most gentle and most caring, the gold in a world of rust. And the tragedy is that it wasn't your fate to hold on to them. Trust me, I know.
