Allison's point of view
Porter High school. Its a prestige private school. Once you enter all you see is perfection. Everything else seems to just stay the same. Here in this city were all in sameness. We believe everything should be perfect. At porter everybody is similar. Same Clothes, same expressions. To me everybody here are just like lifeless robots. I act the same but I'm always curious of what goes on over the walls that block off our community from others.
Ring ring ring.
I awake to hear the same old boring alarm clock I hear every morning. I get up looking in the mirror Ew. I thought to my self. "Time to put on a show." I brush my hair out letting it fall into place and walking over to my closet pulling out a set of clothing. Black skinny jeans, a white blouse, a black cardigan, and black flats. Remember when I said we dress the same yeah this is pretty much what I'm talking about all girls wear something similar to this. I walk down stairs seeing my mother leave for work. With no words towards me she leaves. Now the silence of the empty house creeps me. I quickly eat a protein bar and run upstairs. I brush my teeth and grab my school bag and my keys and walk towards my car.
As I arrive at school I walk towards the school yard where it was louder than usual. I walk up to my best friend Reyna Cannon. "Hey why is it so loud today?" She looks at me shocked "You didn't hear, we're getting a new student today."
"So a new kids no big deal,"
"Allison you don't understand... This new student comes from over the wall." My eyes go wide "I thought nobody over the wall is allowed in this school." She shakes her head "I don't know what to d-" She's quiet all of a sudden along with everyone else. I look over to see a kid I have never seen here. Must be the new kid I thought. He obviously was from over the wall he looked nothing like the boys in our community. He looked frightening but Interesting, curly locks that were pushed back, tan skin, green eyes that were vibrent. He didn't look to bad in my opinion. The school bell rang, and everyone made a run for it obviously scared of this mysterious tall boy. I guess I was the last one beside this boy and the principal. "Excuse me Miss Caldman shouldn't you be in class now" the pricipal spoke to me. "Oh my bad sir I was a bit distracted by something."
"I see," He said as I started to walk away "Actually come back here." I walked over to him "Yes sir." He smiled "Allison your one of my top students here would you mind showing our new student around" I look over to the boy now up close I'm a bit terrified as the very noticable scars on his arm alarm me yet make me curious. "Umm... Not a problem sir." He nods and thanks me then walks away.
The boy clears his throat, I look at him and extended my arm "My Names Allison." He shoke my hand "Harry." I nod, "So Uh I hear your from over the wall..." He scoffs and says "What are you discusted by me to." I shake my head "No why would I.... If anything I'm curious." He looks at me "Okay... You know your the first person to be nice to me... we'll at least act nice to me." I smile "I'm not acting... Why should I be mean to you when I barly know you." His eyebrows furrow "Okay... So since you are showing me around can you tell me where Mrs Floyd is."
"Oh just follow me I have her right now." He nods.
We arrive to her classroom and walk in "Uh Hello Mrs Floyd. This is Harry your new student." She nods "Okay well Allison were in the middle of changing seats you and Harry can sit at the back corner table." I nod and look at harry who's looking at his feet. "C'mon Harry" He looks up when he notices his name is called and nods. We both sit down. As people glance at Harry as if he's some kind of unknown creature. I look at him and find him looking at me I smile at him and he smiles slightly back.
I think I just made a new friend.
