If you have seen 13 reasons why or Stand By Me, Then you would know that these 2 gifs portray reckless driving.
Ace drives on the wrong side of the road in the direction of a oncoming truck whilst being yelled at by his friends to "fall back"
Alex drives over the speed limit in the night while being yelled at by his friends to slow down.
Both reckless actions that could kill them.
If you haven't seen 13rw then you would know that Alex shoots himself in the head at the end of the 1st season.
Which makes me think...
We all know that Ace was homicidal.
But is it possible he was also Suicidal.
I mean yes i know Ace had an opportunity to die when gordie had the gun.
But maybe the idea of being killed but gordie restored his will to live?
Think about it.
Ace only did things that would contribute to his reputation (I.e taking gordie's hat even though it had no value to him, later throwing it away.)
Maybe the idea of being killed by Gordie hurt his pride so much, he no longer wanted to die.
Maybe this is a longshot, but it's just my thoughts.
