The next morning, I basically shoved everything I owned into my suit cases. I fell asleep around one and woke up at 4 to catch our flight. (I forgot what time she had to wake up, just go with it)
After finally getting all packed, I put on a fresh pair of Nike sweats and put my hair in a two Dutch braids and ran out the bedroom door to say goodbye to my family.
I walked down stairs and say my mom on the couch crying. I walked over to her and sat down. "You okay mama?" I ask rubbing her back
"I cant say goodbye to another one of my babies," she sobbed.
"I'll be back for the holidays, I love you!" I say kissing her cheek. She stands up with me and hugs me tightly. I hear my brother and dad walk down the stairs. I look over to see my dad in his work clothes and my brother in his flannel pajama pants and a grey t-shirt. I hug and kiss them goodbye and pick up my suitcase to walk out the door.
I was all done saying goodbye and finally leave the apartment. As soon as I walk out of the front door i'm bombarded by Sabrina and Kayla stand impatiently in front of it. I smile at them excitedly. We run down the stairs and through the halls like children and run to the cab they probably called. Considering we're about to miss our flight, we make sure we get there as fast as we can.
We finally get to the airport and pay the driver then run as fast as we can to the lady at the front desk. She gives us our tickets and we run to the gates of or flight. By the time we get there, we're all three out of breath and tired. We hand them our ticket, and get on the plane.
I got the window seat Sabrina got the middle, and Kayla got the end seat. I actually really liked flying, it was pretty peaceful and nice. On the other hand, Sabrina was freaking out. Kayla was just sleeping, like always. Sooner or later, Sabrina was out, and I fell asleep shortly after that.
After like 5 hours, Sabrina is shaking me awake. I open my eyes to see everyone around me getting up and getting in line to exit the plane. Wow, I expected it to be longer. Plus, I slept the whole time.
