Grayson's POV:

I woke up at 6:30 AM. I groaned as I turned over to hit the snooze button on my alarm. I sighed and got up, rubbing my eyes. I hated Mondays, always have. I walked passed the bookshelf located in my room and my eye caught the picture I had of Ethan. I smiled and grabbed it, admiring his features.

"Oh.. how I miss you," I let out as I kissed it and placed it back on the shelf. "Don't worry, I'll go visit you later today," I said with a smile. I then went into the closet and picked out an outfit for the day. A flannel with some jeans. I didn't really care much because it was Monday, which was pretty much lazy day for me. Once I was finished changing, I went down into the kitchen and made myself my morning smoothie. I checked the time and saw that it was 6:45 AM. Shit, I'm gonna be late. I ran out of the front doors as quickly as I could, not bothering to lock them. I then got into my car and drove to school. School started at 7:10 so I hand about 15 minutes to get myself organized. I walked into the school and into my classroom. I set all the papers down and opened up my laptop to pull up the lesson plans for the day. I turned around and wrote on the board. I finished like about 5 minutes before the bell rung so I went on my computer. I went through all my pictures and found a few of me and Ethan. I smiled at the memories that came rushing through my head. I wasn't completely used to being alone but I was more understanding of the situation now. I snapped out of my thoughts once the bell rung. I walked over to the door and opened it and I just waited for the student to come pouring in. I only had like 15 students in this class and they were pretty calm. Well, all except one which makes me wonder why I decided to become a teacher. I mean money is no problem to me, after dad gave me his business. Dolan Industries was supposed to me managed by both Ethan and I but you know, things didn't quite turn out the way we wanted them to. People always tell me that now that it's only me, I won't have to worry about splitting the money in half but honestly, I would rather be poor and be with Ethan than be rich and have the lonely life I have right now. Sure I have plenty of friends but it's just not the same without Ethan... Even after all this time.

We were reading out loud in class then the fire alarm went off. It scared the shit out of me because no matter how many times I'm told, I always forget and it gets me by surprise. Weird thing is that this time I wasn't told anything.

"Alright guys, let's get out of here. Get in line, no pushing- You know the drill by now," I said as I waited for everyone to get out. I've been a teacher for 6 years now so I knew exactly what to do. I turned off the lights and then walked behind the kids out of the school. Once we got out, we walked over to a tree and stood on the shade, since the sun was extremely hot. I went through attendance to make sure everyone was there.

"Ryan Baker," I said and waited a few seconds for a response, which I didn't get. I looked over my clipboard in search for Ryan but I couldn't see him anywhere. "Has anyone seen Ryan?" I asked everyone. They all shrugged and looked around. "Did he even walk out of the building with us?" I asked again, hoping that someone knew something.

"Yeah he did. He was right in front of me the whole time," Noah told me. I shook my head- Ryan is the kid I was talking about earlier. That one who makes me wonder. I turned around and saw him walk out of a bush. Wow.

"Dude! Why'd you tell him I walked out?!" He yelled as he threw his arms up in the air. I rolled my eyes and looked back at my clipboard.

"It's not nice to do something like that to a teacher- Especially Mr. Dolan over here who is really nice to us," A girl spoke up.

"Shut up Kelsei, no one was talking to you!" He yelled as he pushed past her. I just resumed calling out the rest of the names.

I got home and I just sat on my car. I was extremely tired today for some weird reason. I sighed and then got out of the car and walked down the driveway. I walked into the house and straight towards my room. I changed into something more comfortable; Sweats and a hoodie. After 30 minutes of me laying around in my room, I finally got up and left the house for the second time that day. My friend, who is staying here with me for a few weeks, is on vacation in Italy so I was pretty much alone. I left the house and drove the familiar route towards the cemetery. I parked in the usual spot and walked over to see Ethan. I sat down in the grass and looked at his name.

Ethan

"Hey buddy.. I'm here. Just like I promised you 10 years ago," I said, smiling as I wiped his name. His tombstone looked exactly like it did when we made it; shiny and new. Since I come here everyday, I always clean it so that it doesn't look old and dirty like the ones around, no offense to the dead. May you all rest in piece.

"I'm extremely tired today and I don't know exactly why. Maybe because I slept late yesterday.. I don't know. I was looking through my computer earlier and found a picture where you and I had our wrestling uniforms on. We were pretty ugly fetuses back then," I said as I laughed. "But ever since then, you managed to look slightly better than I did." I added. It was true, he was always the better looking twin. "I've been pretty alone, since Liam and Emma went to Italy with their little children. If you were here, we'd probably be watching movies and cuddling on the sofa. Just you and me in that enormous couch that I don't even use. I think out of my time living in that house... which has been like 6 years now? I don't know, I've sat in it like once maybe," I told him as I searched my memory for me chillen in that couch. "Oh by the way, Will says hi haha. We hung out yesterday. He came from Jersey to visit me for 3 weeks I think. We ate some pizza and just played some random games we found in the attic, once of which was a ouija board. I was gonna tell him that we should use it to talk to you but I knew he doesn't like those kinds of things," I continued on as I took a sip from my tea. This is what I usually do; Sit and just talk to him. Tell him how my day went, saying memories and stuff like that you know. "He was gonna come see you today but he couldn't. We might come back later tho." It had been an hour since I had gotten there. I sighed and got up, patting my clothes to fix them. "Well my love, it's time for me to go. I'll see you later," I smiled as I held up the peace sign with my fingers. I walked back towards the car and drove home.

Helloooo! Well, this is chapter 1 of the third book of the Grethan series!! I was gonna end with the last book but I decided to write a few chapters of this and see how it turns out. Also, to catch you up and to set the scene, the house pictured above is where Grayson now lives, which is located in LA. Grayson is now the manager of Dolan Industries, which is a company that his dad gave him for his 20th birthday. So in other words, Grayson's rich. He still visits Ethan daily and is now also a teacher at a local high school. :)

Hope that sorta helped!! :)

(Btw- I've literally had this chapter written for like a month and a half now lmao but I never published it because I didn't know if it was good enough or if I was gonna continue with the series, Ik it's short but bare with me here lol)
