Glancing at the clock, I realize that's it 2:46 in the afternoon–– and I'm still stuck at the hospital.
I mean, it's absurd because I feel absolutely fine; though, per doctors orders, it's best to be under the supervision of their care.
It's not so bad actually.
The food is not too shabby, the staff is extremely kind, the television has multiple channels and cartoons, might I add, and the air conditioning temperature is perfect.
I give a quick wave to the receptionist as the doors slide open. As they do, a soft breeze runs over me as well as exposed skin whilst the sun, kissed my flushed cheeks.
The bright and sunny weather on a perfect day for the perfect walk.
The cherry blossoms are dancing their beautiful Sakura dance on the tree, rubbing against each other wildly; moving the rhythm of the delighted wind.
I was informed by one of the nurses that there was a beautiful place to hang out was near a little secluded area field next to a pond.
Takin a sharp right, going straight, making a left, and behind the maternity ward.
Just as he described it.
A little field with a large mimosa tree. The pond was a little bit farther away across the tree; it's clear blue water glimmering ever so brightly, rocks, tulips and other magnificent organisms surrounding it.
The tree was surrounded by beautiful, radiant Endless Summer Hydrangeas. The royal blue hydrangea complemented the carmine ones as they popped out from the luscious green foliage.
Call me crazy or whatever, but I swear that I see a shadow near the tree. I may be hallucinating since I was in a big accident after all but it looks pretty real.
Carefully tip-toeing towards the suspicious shadow, I realize it's not so suspicious after all.
It's just someone sitting under the tree, facing the pond.
Making sure not to make a sound, I cautiously go down the little valley.
Checking that where I seat is clean, I look down at the patch of grass and plop myself there; just a feet from the person.
"It's such a beautiful day to sit here."
I try to strike up a conversation but no reply.
"Great minds think alike."
Again, nothing.
"I hope it doesn't rain."
Man, this person better be deaf or that'd be plain arrogant.
Leaning towards their face, there sat a boy.
He looks around my age, slightly golden skin sprinkled with brown freckles. His chocolate brown curls slightly messy, shielding his eyes.
He has very soft, eye catching features.
The wind blows again. This time ruffling his hair, bowing his hair out of his eyes.
I look down on his lap only to find a bright orange carrot which looks extremely delicious might I add.
Unfortunately, his grip on it loosened; letting it roll down into the grass.
"Hey, your carrot is dying." I make an attempt warn him.
No reply.
