Jeongguk didn't really plan on having a sugar daddy. Didn't really plan on ever having any kind of dad, actually.
But he was picked up at the clothing store by one and, for some reason, he didn't argue when the man, offered to buy him the most expensive pair of shoes, and then to drive him somewhere he wouldn't regret going. Clad in a long purple coat and round purple shades, his orange hair bright and his eyes scanning the area like he owned it (which he very easily could), he walked Jeongguk out of the store with a wink to the store clerk to a sleek black car that Jeongguk was sure cost more than his life.
"Where're you from, kid?" the man asked. Jung Hoseok, Jeongguk had to remember.
"U-Um, Busan," he hummed from the backseat, hands gripping tightly on his shoebox and not wanting to move against the most likely expensive leather seats, afraid he would ruin them. He could see his scared expression from the rearview mirror, black hair mussed from not showering and face twisted into fear like he was in a horror movie playing on repeat. Clothes disheveled from years of use, shoes hurting his feet despite not walking at that moment.
"Did you like it there?"
"Yeah." Hoseok hummed.
"How come you left for Seoul, then? School, or fame? Something had to have caught your eye." Jeongguk shook his head from where Hoseok was looking at him in the rearview mirror. "Nothing?"
"I-It was..." Jeongguk brought a hand up to scratch at his hair. "I kind of...ran away from home at sixteen. To here." Hoseok made a noise of realisation. "My mom, she didn't... She wasn't-"
"Hey, baby, it's okay," Hoseok chuckled, hearing Jeongguk's hesitation. "You can tell me all about it when we get home." Jeongguk sputtered.
"Wh- We're going to your house?"
"Yes. We are. We're almost there." Hoseok chuckled again at Jeongguk's surprised expression. A man who could buy him 900,000 won shoes without blinking an eye had to have a big, expensive house. A mansion, even
And he was going there.
"Here we are, babe," Hoseok stated, and Jeongguk leaned to look out the window at the small but extravagant mansion - he knew it - beyond the gate. Hoseok leaned out his window and pressed a button on the intercom.
"Hello?" someone answered.
"Hey, Tae, make sure to unlock the door for me, okay?"
"Okay." Hoseok leaned back into the car and waited for the gate to open before continuing to drive forward and to the front of the mansion.
"Okay, babe, let's go," Hoseok hummed, getting out of the car, Jeongguk sitting there in disbelief until the back door opened and Hoseok nodded towards the house. "C'mon."
Jeongguk carefully got out of the car with his shoebox tucked tightly against his chest in his arms and followed the older man towards the house, where the door opened.
"Hey, sweetheart," Hoseok beamed, opening his arms to the boy at the front. He grinned wide and accepted the hug and kiss Hoseok offered, and jumped back. Bright eyes and an even brighter smile, sunkissed golden hair and white lounge clothes.
"Hi, Daddy," he grinned, then moved and stopped when he spotted Jeongguk, who was staring in awe. "Oh. Who's this?" Hoseok turned and took off his shades, giving a smirk.
"This here is Jeongguk," he introduced. "Jeongguk, this is Taehyung." Taehyung bowed lowly in greeting, but Hoseok chuckled. "Sweetheart, he's younger than you, there's no need to be that formal." Taehyung bent back up and looked at the box.
