The school bell rang, the most annoying sound, other than an alarm clock. Squeaking of shoes, chatter of others, and mixed aura of a school hallway in the morning. Students headed to their classes, wishing their friends goodbye, some skipping. "Why skip first period? Might as well skip the school day if you're willing to get up early." she whispered to herself. Looking up could cause possible eye contact with peers, so she preferred to keep her gaze at her shoes, never looking up in fear of interaction. As she walked past the door frame of her first period class, a wave of exhaust washed over her. Almost immediately, suddenly she was sleepy, despite the fact that she got almost 7 hours of sleep last night.
"Good morning class. The start of a day full of learning. I hope you're ready. Let's begin!" her teacher, Mrs. Soshi, stated before class started, like every day since school started.
The sound around her vanished; though she could care less. Literature is one of her best subjects anyway, to be behind for one day wouldn't be a hard task for her to by pass. And if it was to effect her, she could easily learn the information without any stress involved. Sitting in the back of the class had its perks, for she could look up, without the risk of looking into someone else's eyes. Exploring the classroom from every corner, to speck of dust. She wished her teacher would open the blinds more, though the small edges of the closed blinds the morning sun showed its self.
"Miss Crimshin please pay attention. School isn't the place for daydreams, wake up it's time for you to learn." Mrs. Soshi declared, looking straight at her, burning holes into her.
"I'm sorry Mrs. it won't happen again."
"It better, Crimshin. I expect better from you."
Rosé sighed as she turned back to her notebook full of doodles, barely any notes. She hated when Mrs. Soshi brought up her opinion on her, just based upon her A+ grade in literature.
In school, others had always viewed Rosé as a person with a lot of importance and power within the school system. The reason why? The best grades in the whole district, her father as the founder of the school its self, with outstanding beauty, capturing the hearts of boys all around. Quite the Mary Sue situation, for that is her nickname. Most don't even know her first name, but rather her nickname instead.
Rosé Chimsin seemed like the perfect girl, what could possibly go wrong? Well, everything....
❧Things go well, just to go bad in the end. Don't get too comfortable with reality, nothing is how it seems.
