It was that day. The day that she hoped would never come, but she knew it would. The day her peers would realize her unimportance, but just a pretty face with an mind full of intelligence. That may seem like enough, but in reality it wasn't. She had those aspects but nothing else. No friends, no one to lean on, no one who wants to spend their time with her; she was just too perfect in their eyes. Kicks and punches hit her body like spikes. It hurt, but it wasn't the worst. Who were they, to hurt the school's Mary Sue? Jane Strat, Merid Fussus, and Alexandria White; the district's worst bullies. They were known all over the district for their sadistic beating on their victims. The school system was faulted, and did nothing but give them detention. They're targets were the school's nerds, geeks, loners, and perfects; who they hated the most. They hated how they were all naturally perfect, they didn't even try; which fueled them to give them the worst beatings.

Though they were oblivious to the fact that good grades and have a attractive appearance was far from natural, but pressured on her. If it wasn't for her parents, she wouldn't be how she is. After all they controlled her life on end.

Her parents didn't want a disappointment, after what they went though. Her mom and dad weren't able to have children. They tried and tried and tried; in the end, suffered more and more. Till one day, they accomplished their goal, to have a baby. On May 23, a wonderful baby girl was born. Her parents had high expectations for her, wanting a child which they can show off, and brag about to their friends and other family members. Rosé, being the only child, had a lot to fulfill to meet even a bit of her parents expectations.

Her 'natural' beauty came with consistent visits to the dermatologist, and handfuls of pills for clear; perfect skin.  Sadly, Rosé wasn't a child born with smarts like the kids that landed placements under her. Her parents would lock her in her room when she was little with nothing. No food, no toys, no nothing; except educational books, papers with math problems, and a pack of pencils to last for years. Days on end were the same. Wake up, study, eat breakfast, take pills, study, skip lunch for studying, eat a small portion of dinner, take pills, study, and go to sleep. She had no childhood; and had always been jealous of kids who talked about their parents so fondly, for her's acted like a mere machine to her.  And if she didn't meet those harsh expectations, her parents wouldn't hesitate on a punishment. A few kicks, a few hits, meals skipped, more work, and beatings as sadistic that could nearly kill her were only some of the punishments that she's faced.

Another punch hit her, right on her chest; knocking her unconscious.
