Chapter 11. Pt 2.

Tessa's POV

It's been a couple hours since I talked to Jake and Chance and I have been just chilling in my room. I honestly am freaked out to go find those aliens like why me? "Chance can you please just come with us?" I beg him repeatedly. I'll honestly have a heart attack if he doesn't come with us.

" Tessa I can't. I have to go do some errands with Erika and Anthony. Trust me Jake will take good care of you. You'll be fine and if not just text or call me okay?" He says grabbing me and putting his arms around me protectively.

This is why I love him.

"Fine just can you pleaseeee get me fudge or something?" I ask with my puppy eyes and give him a little kiss on the cheek. "Yes I will. Chocolate walnut?" "How did you know?" I laugh. "Cuz I know my girl" he says looking at me. We both smile and continue watching movies on my computer.

*couple hours later*

It's time to go find some aliens.

To be honest I'm scared as heck. Like I'm going to be so scared since Chance isn't coming with us. I go downstairs to Jakes office

"Hey um, jake?" "Hey Tess, what do you need?" He asks me looking up from his computer. "I-I'm like really scared." I look down cuz I feel tears form in my eyes. "Aww sis it's okay your big bro will take good care of you I promise. Besides we can go get some ice cream after just for you" he says while coming over and hugging me. "Thanks jake" I smile and hug him back.

"Alright I think it's time to go now." He says while grabbing his camera stuff. "Let me get a sweatshirt and I'll be right down" I say and I run up the stairs.

I go into my room and I see Chance with a sweatshirt on. I go over to him. Take it off of him, and put it on myself and walk out without a word. Haha he must be really confused. I run back down the stairs and I see everyone ready at the front.

"Alright Tess are you ready?" Jake asks coming up to me. "Yep let's go" I say and get into the truck.

I sit next to the twins and I feel my phone vibrate.

C- hey babe, just making sure everything is okay!?

T- Chance! Remember you can't call me babe! What if they see my phone or someone sees yours?

C- I'll just put a different name on your contact.

T- but then Jake will get mad at you. When I get home you call me babe all you want ;)

  I smile at my phone. He's such a cutie. It's been about an hour so far and we still have like 1 hour and a half to go. "Hey Tess who ya textin?" I hear jakes voice go into a really HIGH pitch. "Huh? Oh no one" I say and look down at my phone. "If it is a boy Tessa, you gonna be in troubleee" he says. He looks at me and then laughs. I just roll my eyes and look out the window the rest of the car trip.

We soon get to Phoenix Arizona and I'm scared for my life. We are out now finding aliens and it's just really sketchy. I'm like hanging on to Kade and Emilio and I'm shaking so much.

"Tessa everything will be okay trust me." Kade says to me and rubs my back. "Yeah Tessa we got you" Emilio says. I'm shaking like crazy right now and I can't stop. All of a sudden we hear a swoosh sound (a/n I don't know what the sound was so yeah😂) "shhh guys did you hear that?" Jake says while putting his hand up to stop walking. "Everyone get behind me now. And put Tessa in the middle" Jake whisper yells to everyone. Kade puts me in front of him and Emilio is in front of me.

We walk slowly to a circle of stones. All of a sudden I hear a screeching sound and an image of someone walking towards me and soon everything turns black.

*in the car*

I feel my self get shaken and then I hear yelling. I flutter my eyes open to see Jake with concerned eyes and Kade getting water. "Oh my god Tessa don't you ever do that again." I hear Jake say with a shaky voice. He soon wraps his arm around me for a hug. I just cry into his shoulder. That was the scariest thing I have witnessed. Soon Kade and the Martinez twins come into the hug.

I sit between the Martinez twins and I look at my phone. I see 35 missed calls 50 texts and 25 voice mails all from Chance. I don't open them because I don't want anyone seeing them. I shaking and rocking myself back and forth trying to get that sound and image out of my head. "Tessa everything will be okay. We will protect you no matter what" jake says still focusing on the road. All I do is just nod my head. I feel so terrified I just don't know what to think.

*back at the team 10 house*

We finally got back and jake and Kade are helping walk. The door opens and we see a frantic chance and Anthony. "Oh my god Tessa!" Chance comes to get me from the two guys but Jake puts his arm in front of me.

"Chance.. now is not the time. Kade and I  taking her upstairs." Jake says while holding my arms gently. They bring me to my room and put me in my bed. "See you in the morning Tess. If you need anything my room is right there." He smiles at me and I just nod again. He gives me a quick hug and goes off. I just sit there and cry.

Soon Chance comes in and shuts the door. All he does is just come into my bed and just lay with me. This was a terrible night.
