Chapter 15.

Jake's POV. (Spicing it up a bit ;))

So chance just left to go get "food" pfff please, that definitely means he's going to see a girl. Anthony and I both know that.

The next morning I see Tessa skip down the stairs being her happy bubbly self. "Good morning jake!" Tessa says while getting some food to eat. "Hey tessa!" I say while eating my doughnut.

"Hey have any of you guys seen Chance? He didn't come back last night." She asks while getting out her breakfast. Everyone looks at each other and I just look down not wanting to look at her. I know she likes him. And now Chance so messed up. "Umm guys? Anyone gonna answer?" She says. "He umm-" Anthony starts but I cut him off.

"He went to a girls house last night" I say and look up. She looked at me. Her face looked so torn. She looked at all of us and then ran upstairs.

  I get up and try and get to her room but Erika stops me. "Let her have some space it's the best for her." She says to me and gives me a kiss on the cheek and walks away. "Oh and by the way don't do anything to Chance your not sure if he actually went out" Erika whispers in my ear and then officially walks away. Oh Chance your lucky this time.

Tessa's POV.

I ran upstairs breathing heavily so they would think I'm actually crying. I close and lock the door so no one would come in. I grab my phone and start texting Chance.

T- Chance they said that you went to a girls house. They were honest. Beware Jake looks pissed.

C- oh gosh..

C- I'm almost home I'll see you soon babe.

T- okay see you soon.

    I put my phone down and head to the bathroom. I'm still really scared and I wish someone was actually in here while I shower. I strip down and turn on the water.

  I just kinda stand in the warm water just thinking of everything. I then start thinking of Chance. Oh Chance, how did I end up with someone as wonderful as him? I smile just at the thought of him.

  All of a sudden I hear a crash coming from my main room. I quickly turn off the water and put on my robe. I lock the bathroom door and I text Chance.

T- Chance, someone snuck into my room. Get here QUICKLY.

C- oh my god Tessa, keep the door locked I'm almost there. Try and hide and stay quiet.

T- okay just hurry.

  I'm freaking out here. I'm crouched in the corner of the room rocking back and forth. I hear the person try and open the door. Soon the person gives up. Phew that was close. I get up slowly making sure I don't make a sound but I soon regret it...

Chance's POV. (Sorry to keep switching)

After getting Tessa's text I tell Tristan to nail it. We speed all the way back to the team 10 house. While we are driving I tell Tristan what happened. He seems really worried too. Once we get there I hear police cars heading this way. I get out of the car and run into the house. I don't pay attention to anyone else. All that is in my head is to save Tessa.

Once I get to her door I can't open it. "TESSA OPEN THE DOOR ITS CHANCE!" I yell from the outside but I get no response. I quickly run to the "ratchet room" and grab a sledgehammer. I get back to the door and hammer it down.

   I was soon able to open the door and once I entered, no one was in the room...

She's gone...

I feel my heart fall to the ground.

   I collapse to the ground. This can't be happening. I'm so fucking stupid. I should've just stayed home. I feel a hand on my back and I see Erika. "I should've just stayed home." I say to her. She hugs me and soon I feel more bodies wrapping around me.

  "Guys I need you to know that Tessa and I were just trying to prank you guys to see what your reactions would be. I stayed at Tristan's house last night. I'm so sorry" I say while crying with my head on the floor.

  "See Jake I told you he wouldn't do anything to hurt her." I hear Erika say. "I'm so sorry Chance." I hear Jake say.  "I know you two liked each other and just know we are all here to help you get her back." I look up to see Jake smiling at me with tears going down his eyes and hugging Erika. I look around to try and find Anthony but I see him in the corner crying too.

  I go to him and try and give him a hug but he just pushes me away. "You. Stole. Her. From.  Me! Your my best friend, no my brother, and you just take the girl I love so much away from me!" Anthony says outraged. "Bro you didn't say anything about liking Tessa. So how dare you put this against me!" I say with my voice getting higher.

  "Yo, yo, yo chill guys. All we need to worry about is getting back Tessa. I think we all agree that Tessa is more important than this." Jake says trying to split Tony and I.

"Tony, I don't want this to effect our friendship. Please just forgive me. I just don't want this to go down because of a girl that we both love. If she picks one of us then we both can love her either way." I say while holding out my hand. "Ohio?" I say with a small smile.

Tony just looks at me then smiles.

"Ohio"
