<138 days before graduation>
---"Just remember that cells consist of cytoplasm enclosed within a membrane, which contains many organelles such as mitochondria and the nucleus. Organisms can be classified as unicellular or multicellular."
"What's a milochodia?"
"It's called mitochondria. Is that all you heard in everything I said?" With his eyes rolled, he banged his forehead on the wooden surface of the table. The group taking note that Jade has a strange presence that makes people want to bang their heads against anything solid.
"It's not like I understood what you said anyway." Harry comments, eyes not leaving his book. "Why do I even have to learn this? The opportunities of me using these kind of topics are close to nonexistent when I picture my future."
"Well, no one cares about what will happen in your future, I'm only doing this for mine. Now, focus." Jade fixed the glasses sitting on her nose, straightening her back as she thinks of another paragraph from her notes that she could point out to the brunette for their upcoming quiz.
"Alright, it says here that cells can be classified as either prokaryotic or eukaryotic cells, in which us human beings with animal cells belong to eukar-"
"Blah blah blah."
"Can you stop it? Your grades are falling."
"Oh please, everyone knows I only failed last semester because I was training for cross country. But I'll be fine now, I'll just study as hard as I can. If we just call it a night and leave this stinking library, that would be fantastic."
"I am not taking orders from you, Mrs. Higgens is the one who asked me to do this torturous task, not you. Now focus or you're gonna fail our quiz tomorrow." Liam groaned as the textbook was shoved into his direction.
"What's the difference between unicellular and multicellular?"
"I don't fucking know."
"Language!" Harry scolded, smacking the back of his head on which echoed pass every student's ear in the library. "Ahh, what was that for?" He rubbed his shoulder as he stared up at the man who took his attention away from his book to give him a slap. "I don't like people swearing."
"You're not my mum."
"And you're not my son either, so it doesn't really matter."
"Fine, you're just giving everyone a hard time."
"Payne, I told you to study, not talk to Curls." Jade urged, slamming her ruler against the Biology textbook on the table. "I'm trying to, but I can't bloody focus."
"Listen to her, Li."
"I told you I can't!" He nearly yelled, but coming out as a short yelp once he remembers where he is. Everyone turning to him in wonder.
"Jesy? Since when the f*** — Whoa, where did that come from?"
"The author had to censor it, Harry's fault."
"Anyway, as I was saying, do you have any stupid but useful facts for making people focus on studying?" Jade turned to the girl who was blowing on her nails, her another hand tucked cozily under her armpit.
