<111 days before graduation>

"Why are you so grumpy? It's been a week since you've been like this." The Barbie doll complained to her blonde friend, poking her frown.

"No reason." She said, casually lying, because of course there was a reason behind it. And it definitely was about a certain petite brunette who was chuckling with Peazer in their view.

Since when did they even start speaking to each other?

She gives them a last glare before turning to her friends who were eyeing her.

"What?"

"Where's Harry and them?"

"How would I know?"

As if on cue, they watch a group of people walking towards the duo, greeting them as if Peazer has been friends with them for so long.

"Hey Zayn,"

"Hmm." He answers, too distracted analysing her girlfriend who kept glancing at the table far ahead.

"since when has Peazer stopped following you around?"

"Since I snapped at her. She got distant after that."

"You did something to that girl, dude." Louis smacked the barbie doll's back, but he remained unaffected, too busy trying to solve the situation of his girlfriend.

"Perrie, are you okay?"

"Perfectly fine."

"Did you guys fight or something?"

The couple snap their view on the Jughead wannabe, "No!"

"Geez, I was just wondering." He raises his hands in hopes of remaining in peace and not get killed by the two.

Perrie who was attached to whatever she was doing, expression came off as if she doesn't care about anything in the world.

Something happened to Jade and Perrie.

There's no denying that.

The last they spoke was on Saturday when Pizza and awkward exchanges were made.

Zayn is still wondering, what would have happened for them to act like this?

"Pez?"

"What?"

"Want to go coffee with me?"

"Now?"

"Why not?"

"I still have a class left."

"Fine, after school then."

"You still have the drama club after."

"I'll pick you up after."

"Whatever, I have to go." Perrie walks away from the group and Zayn follows along after watching her disappear. But it doesn't stop Louis from shouting, "Don't do anything stupid and use protection."

If they were in their normal state when pretending to be a couple was easy, they would've chuckled him off, weakly flicking his forehead for even talking. But the two were out of it, it doesn't take a genius to notice.

So when they walked away without a response to his unnecessary and out of context words, Louis, for the first time after knowing the couple, actually questioned the outcome of their situation. He goes up to seek their curly-haired diva fourth musketeer.

Zayn tried to coax the answer out by buying Perrie the official Perrie package of nine pieces of chicken nuggets and large fries. I mean he did say coffee earlier, but he figured this would be a better option as they were in familiar safe places far away from everyone.
