I finish packing my last box of clothes and add it to my collection of other stored boxes down stairs in the lounge room. The house looks so strange, so alien like without anything in it. I’m so excited to move in with Chastity but…
“I’m gonna miss this place” I mumble to myself thinking that there was no one else in the room,
“me too” I jump and see Aiden placing a few boxes in a pile behind me. A sudden knock on the door makes me jump again.
“It’s open” I call out.
I hear the door open and then slam shut, Chastity appears and walks over to me and Aiden with a smile.
“Hey Aiden” she says in a flirty voice and then winks at me.
“Chastity! Stop flirting with my brother!” I say in a high pitched voice.
“Hey Chastity” he says in the same flirty tone that she gave him.
“Aiden! Stop flirting with my best friend! I screech again. Wait, what? Did I just say best friend? Yeah, I did and it feels good to finally think that.
Aiden and Chastity both laugh together and look at me.
“You need help?” Chastity asks me after they stop laughing.
“Na, I’m done packing but I’m gonna need your help to take these boxes to your place,”
“that shouldn’t take long, it’s just down the street right?” Aiden asks.
Chastity and I nod at the same time and start giggling like little kids.

I place the last box on my new bedroom floor and slump onto my new king sized bed looking up at my new ceiling. This room is amazing; it’s the same size as Chastity’s room which is 8 times the size of my old room, and the best thing is that it’s Chastity’s room. Chastity walks in and sits beside me.
“Aiden says to start unpacking” She says
I groan in reply as Chastity grabs one of the boxes and starts emptying the contents onto the floor. She takes my brush and places it on my dresser along with my alarm clock, my jewellery box and my special, pink lamp that my parents gave me when I was little. I do the same with the clothes; I open up the wardrobe which is more like a second bedroom and start putting my clothes on the racks. When I finally finish I notice that my clothes have only taken up a quarter of the wardrobe.
“I think we need to go shopping this Saturday for some new clothes” Chastity squeals behind me. I turn around and see that Chastity has already unpacked 5 more boxes.
“This room is starting to come together” I say pleased.
“Your room is starting to come together” she reminds me.

As Chastity and I walk downstairs to the kitchen we pass Aiden’s new room; his room is on the first floor and Chastity’s and mine is on the second. Aiden says that now that there are 2 girls and 1 boy living together us girls need our privacy so he picked downstairs to stay in for our sake.
I continue walking down the steps when the delicious smell of pizza hits my nose. At the dining room table there are 3 pizzas set out on plates for the each of us; Mmmm I love Aiden’s homemade pizzas, there better than any eagle boys or dominos’ pizza.
Chastity and I take a seat on the opposite of each other on the table and start digging into our pizza. Aiden comes out from the kitchen with 3 glasses of coke and place them on the table; I grab my glass and take a sip, I didn’t know how thirsty I was until I took a second sip. My pizza tastes so good in my mouth, all the flavours mixing together making my tastebuds go crazy. Mmmm pepperoni, cheese, tomato sauce, ham, olives…
“I don’t feel like going to school tomorrow” Chastity announces grimly.
“Me neither” I reply.
“Well Jena, you’re going anyway. Do you think any of the kids at your school actualy want to go? No they don’t but they go anyway.” Aiden says.
“Ugh, yes dad” I tease and everyone starts laughing.

After dinner Chastity and I hung out in the upstairs lounge room watching movies on the enormous plasma TV.
"Jena, do you wanna bludge school tomorrow?" Chastity asks when the cast of the Hunger Games is on. I love The Hunger Games, it's the most amazing movie series; Jena Malone who plays Johanna Mason in Catching Fire is amazing and my favourite, Johanna has so much attitude.
"ok, but we gotta wait till Aiden leaves for work"
"yeah" she replies.
"So what are we going to do tomorrow?" I ask
"Well we definitely need to get you some new clothes to fill up your wardrope and then we can watch a movie at the cinema and then..." Chastity takes a big breath and continues going on, "we can go to the club and get drunk, you know, meet some cute guys"
"It sounds like lots of fun, especially the cute guys part but I'm only 17, I can't drink at clubs yet. Usually I just get Aiden to get the alcohol" I say.
"I know the bar tender, he was one of my dad's best friends so he'll let you" she says
"Oh my God! Where have you been all my life?" I start giggling and she joins in; after 10 minutes, we're already rolling on the floor.
"What's going on in here?" Aiden asks.
Chastity and I quickly get up off the floor and grin at Aiden while exchanging a few glances.
"I thought there was a dying cow in here" he says
"well Jena's not dead yet" Chastity laughs, implying that I'm a cow.
"Hey! I'm not a cow!" I say trying to look serious and hurt but we end up laughing and rolling on the floor again. At that moment I feel like wer'e a family, we may not have any parents but the three of us still seem like a family. I finally have a true family...
