Chapter 3

Adrien POV

   After the whole PE fiasco I went to the nurse saying I felt under the weather. They sent me home and Natalie sent me to my room for rest.
   "Why plagg? Why did she have to say yes?!"
Adrien exasperated. "Well for one thing, she gave up on you, ya know, after it was clear that you didn't like her!" Plagg said. "But I do like her!" Adrien exclaimed. "And when did you realize that? Before or after she had a boyfriend already." Plagg smirked to himself, knowing he was getting on the blonde's nerves. "I-I.. w-well" Adrien started. "Eeeeeexxxaaaccctly." Plagg said, ending the conversations and went over to the couch to eat his cheese.
   Adrien started to think. Did he now realize that he liked her because she found someone other than him?! That's when he remembered that he said he should get to know her as Chat!
"Plagg... CLAWS OUT!"

Marinette POV
   "Sure why not!"
What... was... I... Thinking!? Going out with Kim! KIM!!! Of all people!!!! I watched Adrien as he walked out. He turned to me and said "I'm Sorry". Sorry? Sorry for what? Waaaaiiiiitttt! Did he like me?! No no no no no no no no no no no no no no! What did I do!!
Oh yeah now I remember! I beat Sdrien at arm wrestling, said yes to Kim thinking I had no chance with Adrien, then finding out I actually did! Ughhh! I'm such a dorkasaurus!!!
Now I have to go out with Kim tonight! Should I wear something nice? Something casual? I'll text him.
  I pulled out my phone and started to text Kim, he said to wear something casual since we are just going to the cafe across the street from his house. So I just put on some blue jeans, brown boots that reached my calves, a white tank top, and brown sweater that was to big for me. I looked in the mirror but something didn't look right. Tikki flew out from her purse and pointed to her hair. I took out my normal everyday pigtails and brushed out my hair. I should really leave it down more, I kind of like the look.
   I was getting really to head out when tapping on my window startled me. And me being me, I tripped on the floor. Groaning from pain, I got up and opened my window only to meet the one and only Chat Noir! "Hey princess! Where you heading looking like that?" Chat asked
Tbh I have my first day of school tmr and I don't feel like adding puns in this chapter, I'll add extra puns next chapter!
"Didn't you know that curiosity killed the cat?" I responded. "One life down, eight to go." Chat replied as he winked. I just giggled. "Well if you want to know so badly, I have a date silly kitty, not that I want to go." I mumbled the last part.
  "And why doesn't my purrrincess I felt bad, I put in a pun. want to go?" He asked. Oh snap he heard me, forgot, super hearing. "W-well you know, I k-kind of like someone e-else." I stammered, curse my awkwardness! "Wait seriously, and who might be the boy who stole my princess's heart, and why might you be going on a date with a person whom soy don't love?" He continued. "Oh my gosh you're just full of questions tonight!" I exclaimed. " Don't duck the question princess." Chat said getting more interested. "Okay you want to know why I said yes to Kim well this is why, My crush never notices me, sure we consider ourselves close friends but we barely even talk! And Kim is probably the only guy that'll give me any notice! So I gave up! That's right! Marinette Dupain-Cheng gave up! What a surprise! But after I said yes, he walked out! And he was saying he was sorry! Sorry for what!? I don't know! Does he like me?! If he did, does he still like me?! I-I have n-no idea." I ranted, towards the end a tear slipped out of my eye. Chat just stood there shocked.
  "P-princess... I-I.... I didn't know." He said as he pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back, crying into his chest. After a few minutes we pulled apart. He cupped my face and wiped away any remaining tears. "I-I should go, I'm gonna be late." I stated. "Yeah, see you later princess." Chat said as he walked to the window. He was about to jump when I said, "Thanks Kitty, I really appreciate it.". "Anytime my princess." Then he jumped into the noisy city of Paris. I took a final look in the mirror then started to head to the café.
  As I walked in I saw Kim sitting at a table near the window wearing a grey long sleeve shirt and black jeans with white high top sneakers. He looked nice I guess. "Hey Kim." I greeted as I walked over to him. "Hey Marinette." He said as he smirked and lifted an eyebrow. Oh boy. This isn't gonna end well.
   Already 10 minutes, Kim has nonstop flirted with me and he keeps boasting about himself.
"-and that's how I took down that bear." Kim bragged. "Oh yeah that's great." I said not really paying any attention. I just couldn't stop thinking about Adrien. "Hey Mari-" que cringe. "-maybe we should head out." He said with a smirk. "Yeah I think that's best." I said as we walked out. He insisted to walk me home so I said yes. We were almost there as we passed an alley way that he pulled me into. He pushed me against the wall and put his face close to mine.
  "K-Kim w-wha-" I nervously started. "Shh, You're gonna enjoy this." He said as he started to kiss me. I pushed him off of me, but he just came back and put my arms above my head and held my legs back. "Kim stop!" I pleaded but he just kept kissing me. Then all of a sudden Kim was pulled back and kicked in the stomach. "I'm pretty sure Marinette said to stop." I looked up expecting to see the one and only Chat Noir, but instead I saw the one and only...
