High In The Sky (Kamigami No Asobi Fanfic)

~ Second Chapter ~

Room was huge. In the middle, there was red carpet. Carpet was right in front of a big throne. On the throne, there was sitting blonde male with beard and big staff. Next to him, there was standing male with dark skin, white hair and glasses. He had his arm crossed over his chest. Other seven boys were standing aside.

"What is the meaning of this, Zeus?!" Blue haired guy yelled.

"Calm down, I will explain everything. Girls joined us too." Male on the throne, Zeus, said.

Yui closed the doors behind them and joined Hayami. They were standing in front of Zeus. Hayami was looking emotionless towards him.

"Zeus? Like god of the sky?" Hayami asked coldly.

"That is right, sweetheart." Zeus answered. "I am the one."

"Don't call me like that." She said and sighed. "What is this place?"

"This is school for gods. I made it last year for gods to learn something more about humans."

"And we learned it!" Red haired guy screamed.

"I agree! Why are we here then?!" Blue haired joined conversation again.

"I said that you will be here until you finish the school. Because something happened, you weren't able to finish school year. That is why I decided to bring you all here again." He said and rised his staff.

"And why am I here, Zeus?" Hayami asked.

Lightning jumped in the air from his staff. Hayami's eyes widened. She was suspicious a bit about him being Zeus. But now, he proved it.

"Gods are good with Yui. I brought you here to see will they be good to you, Hayami Akamatsu."

Hayami frowned and crossed her hands over her chest. She rised her eyebrows while looking at Zeus.

"I am sorry, but I don't like talking to people. I am fine alone."

"If you don't become friends with them, you will stay here forever."

"This is stupid..." She mumbuled.

Zeus stood up. Everyone in the room looked at Hayami scared.

"I don't care! You will get along with everyone or you will stay with them here forever!" He yelled furiously. "What is your decision, Hayami?"

She didn't even blinked. Hayami looked at others. Some of them were looking at her as if they were asking her to just go along with Zeus plan. Others were just emotionless. She sighed and shrugged.

"Okay... I will give it a try." She said with her eyes closed.

Zeus nodded then turned towards white haired guy.

"Toth, take her to her room."

"Hai." Toth said grumpy. "Let's go, Hayami!"

Hayami quietly went after him. Before she left the room, she looked at Zeus and other gods once more. She smiled towards Yui and went outside of the room.

"You are Egypt god of knowledge, right?" Hayami said breaking the silence between them.

"Hai." He said and looked at her. "It was not smart to say that to Zeus."

Hayami shrugged.

"I don't care, honestly..." She mumbuled and put her hands on her hips.

"I can't decide if you are stupid because of that or brave." He said and trapped her against the wall.

He put his hand on the wall, next to her head. She didn't blink, she just smiled.

"I can't wait to see your class, Toth-sama."
