This weather never fails to bring back all those awful memories. The cold, the wind, and snow everywhere. Some memories are forever buried in the mind and for me, it was this particular memory. It was back in 2015 when he spoke his mind unfiltered.
*Flashback*
Thursday at around 7p.m at Hexy Restaurant, I walked through the front door of the restaurant with a happy, joyous face. But suddenly it vanished. It was his face, and he was not happy.
"Hey, I just want to tell you. Umm, I am really sorry Al, really sorry. It's over" he said to me.
"What's the matter? What's over?! You need to be more clear, I just came."
"Us. Our relationship" the way he said it sounded like he really meant it.
I ran out of the restaurant and on to the sidewalk without uttering a single word to him. I couldn't hold my tears anymore, they pierced through my eyes and ran down my cheeks. The walking in the cold and crying made me feel so weak and like a total loser.
*Present*
I must stop thinking about it, it's just a memory now, rest is what I need and tomorrow is a very busy day.
"Wakey wakey sleeping beauty. Its already 7am, you should prepare yourself to go the university" said Cassandra with her loud voice almost shattering my ears.
"Bruh, its still 7am. My university starts at 9am"
"Don't get mad at me when you reach there late. I did my part." She said leaving my room.
I got up soon after not wanting to be late on my first day.
Ugh, this university life, why can't we just stay home and watch Netflix?!

First day of university huh? Lot of people walking around, talking, even yelling out loud, minding their own business and other's too. I don't think I can stay here until graduation. I'm supposed to go to the principal's office and I have no idea where I am going, this University is not that bad, but its pretty huge and looks very elegant. I spotted the office and knocked on the door before entering.
"Hi, excuse me, I'm a new student here. The security said I can meet the principal here." Oh god I really am nervous.
"Aah, Alicia Quinn right? Please come in and follow me" The lady in the waiting room was nice, and I hope all professors here are like her.
"Can you wait here for a second?" she asked. I nodded and sat myself down on one of the chairs. She then entered the office in front of me with the name plate of the principal.
*A few moments later*
"Please, come in!" the principal said to me from his office.
"Hello sir, its a pleasure to be here. I'm Alicia Quinn. Nice to meet you." I introduced myself and hoped I'd do well here.
"Yes, hello Alicia. Just call me Professor J, welcome to Xagon University." he welcomed me with his big smile.
"Thank you Professor J."
He spoke a lot about the university, about how it functioned and the rapport between a student and a professor. He stopped in the middle and asked the lady who brought me in to call a student to be my tour guide and to show me around the university.
"Attention, Damian Brooke please come to the principal's office immediately." She announced on the mic. I just sat in there hoping that Damian would be a nice fellow.
He took so long to arrive, a turtle could've walked faster than him.
"Hey, excuse me Mrs. Lena. is there anything I can help you with?" asked the guy who just came. He seemed like he'd been running, and he was sweating so much. He probably was Damian.
"Ah yes Damian. This is our new student. I would like you to show her around the campus. Thank you." said Mrs. Lena to Damian.
"Oh? Okay sure Mrs. Lena."
After his very short conversation with Mrs. Lena, he quickly turned around and said hi to me. He was tall, and stylish, and I admit, he was very good looking.
"Hi, I'm Damian. Damian Brooke nice to meet you, and you are?"
"I'm Alicia Quinn. I'm a new student here, nice to meet you too."
He smiled at me, and damn, that smile could break a million hearts.
"Should we start now?" he asked me smiling.
"Oh, y-yeah s-sure." I couldn't get myself to speak properly, gosh I feel stupid.
We walked around for about more than 20 minutes and he kept talking to me, telling where which class was and what the professors were like. He explained everything about the university to me. It was a huge University, with a modern yet elegant style which made it look like it was meant for rich kids. Damian was quite nice and cute (no, I don't like him). I guess he's pretty popular here, almost everyone in this University said hi to him. It felt like I was walking with a celebrity. He walked me to my classroom and told the professor about me being a new student. He introduced me to the professor. I was nervous. I hope I don't start having a panic attack when I have to introduce myself in front of the whole class.
