So my friend Phoebe (@coriandre_life) got on to doing a month-long writing dare on her page, and the idea was amazing so I joined the bandwagon.
The Imperfection Dare consists of day-to-day assignments to write about, and my guide is below. (Those in bold are already finished.)
—
Day 1: Write a scene that takes place in a coffee shop.
Day 2: Write a scene involving a simple item that triggers a memory.
Day 3: Write a scene that is told entirely in the form of a letter from one character to another.
Day 4: Write a scene in a church.
Day 5: Write a scene that takes place in a farm.
Day 6: Write a scene where you absolutely love the outfit one of the characters is wearing.
Day 7: Write a scene with no dialogue.
Day 8: Write a scene that takes place in a concert.
Day 9: Write a scene with only one character, alone.
Day 10: Write a scene where some kind of emergency occurs.

Day 21: Write a scene involving a newspaper.
Day 22: Write a scene where two characters kiss, unexpectedly.
Day 23: Write a scene involving a park bench.

Day 26: Write a scene that takes place exactly where you are now.
Day 27: Write a scene from the point of view of someone who is either blind or deaf.
Day 28: Write a scene that is completely shocking.

Let's roll!
And yeah, a few other things worth mentioning:
For possibly every story, I get inspiration from some movie, book, song, person or event. Sometimes I build references into the writing, or draw the scene from that inspiration. The sign "powered by" before the start of each story will list these inspirations :)
Also, if you are wondering what that thing is on the cover - it is a Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. Its purpose is to leave things in shards. Yep.
