The Angel Demon Twins.

Finding the manor.

Two girls wondered in the alley ways, searching desperately for something. One of them was dressed in black with white hair going to her hips and sky blue eyes,whereas the other girl was dressed in white with white hair going just above her shoulders.
"Are we there yet Rose~" the blue eyed girl asked the other girl.
"No shut up Maria. The Phantomhive manor is ages away and besides, we're still in the city."
"Rose whe-"
"Sssh I can hear a carriage!!"
"Great we can catch a ride there. Where is it?"
"Not too far from our current position. If we hurry we can catch it!" Rose exclaimed grabbing Maria's hand and dashing towards the sound of trotting hoofs and wheels bumping along a muddy road. They managed to get there just as the previous occupants were getting out. Rose relaxed and let Maria handle the fees for the carriage ride.
"Excuse me sir, how much will it cost for one ride?" Maria asked.
"Depends where you want to go little lady."
"I'm hoping to catch a ride to the Phantomhive manor because you see, my sister she..she-"
"Aaarrrgghhh!!!!" Rose screamed as she clutched her heart and fell to her knees only to be caught by a sniffling Maria.
The carriage driver's eyes widened and he instinctively reached out to help the poor girl.
"My sister! She.sh..she's DYING!!!A..AND..AND THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!!😫😫" Maria said emphasising the 'dying' and the 'there's nothing' bit.
"The on..only.. way I.i..I could hel..lp was by..b.b..b.by going to my fa..father who works in the Ph..ph..Phantomhive manor! That's the only way she might see the light of day again!!!" Maria said bending her head and crying.
"O..of course!! You know what? I'll even take you there for free!!!! Come on now get in." The carriage driver exclaimed,ushering them in.
"Thank you ever so much you have saved a life so dear to me. I love you so much! Thank you I shall forever be in your debt!" Maria announced, tears of joy filling her eyes. She ran up to him and hugged him tightly. The driver's cheeks were tinted pink.
"It's my pleasure 😇!"
      Maria and Rose settled into the carriage and began the long journey to the Phantomhive manor.
"Why do we have to pull that facade every time we can't afford something?" Rose said leaning on Maria's shoulder. Maria brushed some loose strands of hair away from Rose's face and slightly giggled.
"In case you don't know I'm the succubus in here so it's natural that I would know what to do in situations like these. You take care of us most of the time so just leave everything to me and relax. You are going through the process of dying after all."
"If only it was that easy to die. I'm an angel and your a demon. We spend centuries in this world whether it is eating souls of guarding them."
"It's almost impossible to think that two opposite creatures like us could have the relationship we have and yet we are here today, looking for the only family we might have left." Maria said. Rose went to sleep and Maria stared out of the window into the vast,blurry countryside. One thought in both their heads:' Will this 'Michaelis' fellow mother used to talk about take us in once he knows who we are?'

Maria and Rose were now standing right outside the manor. The rain had stopped and the sun was now glistening in it's absence. Rose went up to the and pushed the knocker, they could hear the sound echoing around the premises.
"Maybe no ones home?" Maria suggested while hunching her shoulders. Then the door opened and the girls saw a refined looking man with black hair framing his face with bangs and crimson eyes. He was wearing a stern expression on his pale white face and he had on a butler suit.
"What are two young girls like you doing here so late?"
"We-"
"We've come here requesting a place to stay in exchange for our services." Maria interrupted. Rose looked at Maria curiously. 'Why didn't she just say the real reason we're here?' She thought.
"Very well, if you follow me and I shall lead you to the spare guest bedrooms. You shall have your job interviews with the young master and I first thing tomorrow."
"Thank you very much." Maria replied dragging Rose along to theirs quarters where they unleashed all the thoughts they had kept inside.

*Timeskip to in room*

"Why didn't you say we were looking for our father here?"
"I said what I said because that man, I sensed a dangerous aura from him kind of like my own and from what I could sense he is a demon like me,a high ranking one at that."
"So what Marrie?"
"We can't just go up to a high ranking demon and say ," Hey we think we're your daughters so please do the job you've been avoiding for so long and take care of us." can we?"
"I guess when you put it like that we can't."
"Trust me Rose, we're in another demon's territory so we can't demand things like we own the place. Just get some sleep and I'll handle the rest, it's the least I can do after all that you've done to get us this far."
"Okay." Rose said snuggling under the covers and entering the glorious world of dreams.
Maria simply went to the window and gazed aimlessly into the night sky. She thought about the last time she'd seen her mother and what she'd been asked to do.

*Flashback*
"My sweet little girls," Matilda said stroking their faces."I can no longer be with you. I'm going to join God up there."
"Don't say stupid things like that you're going to get better." Rose cried hugging her mother's body. Then Matilda began to spit out more blood.
"After I'm gone you need to do something. Go to the Phantomhive manor and ask for a Mr.Sebastian Michaelis. You got that, right? Sebastian Michaelis."
"We won't need to we're going to help you and we'll escape this place and live the life we've always wanted, just the three of us!" Maria sobbed.
"My dears, your both so strong, no one can be here forever but you should cherish the memories you have with them." Matilda whispered, embracing her daughters for the final time. "You two remind me so much of them. I will always remember you and I will never regret bringing you into this world. G..goodbye m..m.my d..dar..darl-" Matilda closed her eyes, never to open them again. The two girls wept for ages before building up the courage to bury their mother and escape.

"I'm here mother, I've found our father."
