Ciel woke up just as Sebastian came into his room.
"Sebastian get my formal attire for me and tell the servants to dress formally too. We're going to church."
"I don't understand why you want to go to such a heavenly place when your bound to such an unholy person but nevertheless I shall do as you have asked." Sebastian replied and he exited the room to wake up the other servants.
"Tch, I feel like it so why not?" Ciel said to himself but he knew Sebastian heard it.
Sebastian marched into the servants quarters and got the clumsy trio to wake up. He didn't have to wake up Tanaka because, as usual, he was sitting somewhere sipping tea. Sebastian knocked on the door of the twin's room.
"Yes?" A muffled voice said.
"It's Sebastian may I come in?"
"Of course, let me open the door." The voice that clearly belonged to Rose answered. Rose opened the door and Sebastian came in.
"Today, he master has announced that we all are to go to church so he has informed me to tell you to dress into formal attire by 8 o'clock.-"
"I'm not going." Maria said.
"What do you mean?"
"I said, I'm not going."
"Marrie," Rose pleaded.
"Rose, stop it. I'm not going and that's final."
"I'm afraid I can't have that because everyone is going so it would be unsafe to leave you here." Sebastian said.
" Being stuck here is better than going to that place, I swear the whole place just reeks of holiness every time I go."
'Why would that be a problem?' Sebastian thought.
"Terribly sorry Sebastian, my sister despises churches or any holy places to be honest. She can't stand them but I'll make sure she comes don't you worry." Rose said as she started to push him out.
"Very well just make sure you're both downstairs by 8 o'clock."

*Timeskip to 8 o'clock.*
Rose and Maria came down wearing their formal attire.

Maria's formal attire.

"Why are you wearing black Maria?! We're not going to a funeral we're going to a church so why the hell are you wearing black?!" Ciel yelled.
"Common courtesy clearly dictates that on Sunday's servants can wear whatever they wish to if they are not serving their master(I don't think that's actually true but this is a dimension where anything is possible, I mean, you've got Sebastian for example. How often do you see a demon butler?) so I can wear black if I want to." Maria argued.
"You are serving me, I'm ordering you to go to church?!"
"Ha! Going to that place is more like punishment than an order."
"FINE! I'll let you wear it if you stay at the back of the church where people won't see you." Ciel said sitting in the carriage.
"I'd rather sit outside, the further away, the better." Maria grumbled as she went to sit in the front with Sebastian.
"Marrie where are you going?"
"I'd rather not sit in there with the master right now."

*Timeskip to when at church*

Rose had already entered the church but Ciel was tugging at Maria who was clinging on to the carriage door.
"COME.ON.MARIA!!! JUST LET GO OF THE.STUPID.CARRIAGE!!!"
"NNNNNOOOOOO!!!!!YOU WON'T GET ME IN THAT FILTHY PLACE! I REFUSE TO GO! ROSE WILL GO BUT NOT I!!NNNOOO I'M STAYING RIGHT HERE!!!"
"My lord, I suggest you go inside, we seem to be attracting some unwanted attention." Sebastian said as he ripped Ciel away, taking a quick glance at the passers by. Ciel groaned and walked towards the church. Maria sighed and sat back in the drivers seat.
"Thank you Sebastian, I really hate churches so I tend not to go anywhere near them."
"I understand how you feel Maria for I don't like churches either. I am terribly sorry for asking but, why do you hate churches so much?"
"The whole place just reeks of holiness."
"So you don't prefer holy places." Sebastian asked.
"No I don't, if I tell you why will you promise not to tell anyone?"
"Yes, unless it is the young master of course."
"I am a demon, that's why I hate holy places. God and I aren't exactly friends." She said with a smirk.
"It seems I have something to say too, I already knew you were a demon."
"How did you know?!"
"I am a higher ranking demon than you, and older so I have come into possession of that certain ability of being to sense another demon. You probably already have that ability, don't you?" He said smiling and ruffling her hair a bit.
"Can I stay outside with you whenever we go to church then?"
"Of course but I shall have to ask the master first though."
"You seem to be very obedient towards Ciel."
"Of course, I did form a contract with him after all."
"YOU'RE THE ONE WHO FORMED A CONTRACT WITH HIM?!"
"Yes I did why does that surprise you?"
"I thought I could form one with him, his soul smells sssoooo delicious and I haven't eaten my first soul yet!"
"You haven't, what did your mother and father teach you about being a demon?"
"My father who was a demon left my mother before I was born and my mother was a human and the church hated her for being in a relationship with a demon and..an..and..." Maria couldn't carry on any further with her story, especially when it bought back bad memories and when her father was right next to her.
"Oh don't cry now," Sebastian said whilst hugging her and drying her eyes." We can talk about this later and look, the young master and the other servants have arrived so please stop crying now and give me a big smile, okay?"
"Okay!" Maria said with a smile back on her face.
