Kitty Cat

Black stream flowing over me
   Nudging for some play
A glimpse into the darkness
Sweat ink drop she be may
Plucked from the night
   Yet so elegantly fragile
Soft tickles as she bushes past
   The waves so agile
So comforting is her waters
Yet leaving is the worst part
When broken in two
   Left for so long
The water has lost her stance
   Months grow longer
All thought is dipping
   Back to the black ink
Those long days have past
   Searching for a taste
The water had grown so thin
   Sweet ripples returned at last
Racing to my calling
   The water seemed to attack
Finally returned at last
   To my sweet, kitty cat
