Meanwhile at the New Home

Meanwhile, when the wife and the son arrived at their new home and were waiting for the lord and the daughter to follow. They had settled in to the house and were awaiting for the lord and daughter to return to them but they never came. The wife started to become worried of wha may of happened to them. Then, One day when the son was outside picking flowers to give his twin sister when the lord and her had come back but while picking flowers, he heard a loud boom and looked up to see a giant mushroom cloud in the direction of their village. He ran inside and told the wife there was a big cloud coming from the direction of their home. The wife looked out the window thinking it was preposterous but as the son had said there was indeed a giant cloud coming from their home. She immediately picked up the son, jumped on the horse, and had rode off in the direction the mushroom had appeared. A few hours later, they arrived at wha was left of their home and looked around for survivors and called out for anyone but there was no answer. Suddenly, they heard a groan and found someone bleeding next to the well, It was the lord. The wife fell on her knees saying, "what happened to you, my love?". The lord said, "It's was the man in the cloak.. he returned.. Jinjaru returned..". The wife said worriedly looking around as the son stood next to them trying not to cry, "Where is she?" The lord turned silent and said, " I sent her away before he could get her, she's in danger, He's gonna come after her.". The wife said worriedly, "why? Why will Jinjaru come after her?". The lord went silent again and said, "I cast a spell for her and the sacred staff to become one.". The wife then began to tear up, "My poor baby". The son gripped his hand in frustration. The lord said, "you must find her and keep her safe, She does not know she will be followed for the power with in her". In that moment the lord had passed, the wife cried holding him close. Meanwhile, The son gripped his hand even tighter and and began running to out of the village and took a deep breath and scram as loud as he could. "RUBY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", it echoed for miles but he didn't hear anything. Ruby was still walking in a field of tall grass. When all of a sudden there was a gust of wind echoing a voice only she would know. She turned around and began running back to the village. The son then fell on his knees looking for any sign of movement. Till all of a sudden there was a person running towards the village. At first, he thought it was the person that had killed his father. When the person had then shouted out his name. And he knew who it was who was running. It was Ruby running towards her twin and the ruins of their village, "RUDY!!!", she shouted excitedly. He then got up and ran toward her and hugged her tight. "Ruby, you idiot, where were you?" He said while crying his eyes out. She then moved back a step and held out the sword that their father had entrusted to her to give to him, "Here, father said this is for you". He told the sleeved sword and tied it to his belt, and grabbed her hand and walked with her back into the village to show their mom that she had come back. They walked up to her as she had finished putting a blanket over her loved one. Then, she got up and looked at Rudy and noticed he was holding someone's hand. She knew who it was since the twins always held hands as to not lose one another. She fell to her knees and said, "I'm so glad your safe" and hugged them both. After a bit, she got up and saying, "well now, shall we go home?". They both nodded, and all walked towards the horse that was on the outskirts of the village, as they were about to head out, a dark cloud had appeared out of nowhere and surrounded them. A shadow appeared with in the cloud and began to walk closer. The wife looked as the figure began forward toward them. The twin looked at the figure as well then, Ruby suddenly fell over. The mom looked over to see that Ruby had collapsed and said, "Rudy I need you to take your sister and go!". "But mom!", he said worried. "Remember, what your father said? He said, that she will be in danger from here on, so I need you to be a brave boy, take your sister and run!". "But what about you, mom?", he said with a sad face. "I'll be fine, I can by you both some time if I hold him off, now GO!!!". She then smacked the back of the horse and they rode off. As they rode off, Rudy looked behind and said, "Don't worry, mom, we'll be careful..". The mom then turned back to the black figure and said, "I know it's you and whom your are! Show yourself!" She then pulled out a sacred bow and readied it with an arrow. Jinjaru then appeared from behind the dark clouds, laughing, "so he told you bout me, eh?". "Be quiet, you coward! I know why your after her!" She said while pointing the bow at him. "So your gonna kill me, eh?" He said laughing. "If it stops you from getting to them then yes". She then released the arrow and it hit him but it didn't do as much damage as she had hoped. He laughed, " and you thought that would work?, You Fool!" Jinjaru then got closer to her and cast a spell of hypnosis on her to be his slave. "Now you will help me get them!" Jinjaru said laughing. "Yes sir!" She said.
