"Don't get near her, she has requested space."
"What's your damage? Let me through." I hear Elementa's voice through the door as I hit the punching bag.
"She has requested to be alone."
I rub my forehead and make my tentacle claw pull open the door.
"It's alright Saldana, let her through." I say and Elementa walks through the doorway, closing the door behind her. She waves to Darla and Aiden in their play crib.
"Hey." She says as she takes a seat on a bench by the wall. I stand straight.
"Hey."
"How are you holding up?" She pats next to her and I drag the play crib close, the take a seat.
"I'm losing my mind, Ele. I hate not knowing what's going on. I can't go either because Dark told me not to."
"Since when do you listen to Dark when you know what's right?" She asks and I put my weight on my knees.
"This is different, it could end up in flames if I go. I've seen too much if I end up leaving. Plus, I have to protect this place so it won't be easy. Dark gave the guards an order to keep me still and safe, in here." I sit back up and she looks at the door.
"Do you want to get out for a bit to plan?" She asks and I look at her.
"Yes, but I have to make sure the guards keep this place safe. Give me a few minutes to wash up and then I'll fix some things." I say and she nods as I push the movable play crib out the gym. I nod at Saldana and make my way up to my room, picking up the crib and floating inside.
Elementa stays with the kids as I shower and plan out a couple things.
Once I get out I dress myself and start tapping away on my screen, summoning Infelix and Wilford.
I push the screen away, sending the message and put on ripped jeans and a black T-shirt with a black leather jacket. I slip on my combat boots and walk to Elementa.
"Woah! You may be older and a Queen of an entire dimension but you still can pull off that rocker look." She says as I fix my hair.
I roll my eyes playfully and hear fighting downstairs. I sigh and pick up Aiden as Elementa carries Darla.
"Always something to fix, huh?" She asks and I laugh slightly.
"Always." I smile and head to the foyer, seeing Infelix and Wilford getting pushed out the door and getting yelled at by my guards. My boots click against the tiled floor as the guards stop and stand straight.
"What's going on now?" I ask and my guards bow.
"My Queen, these to were trying to get in the castle."
"It's fine, I made them come here." I wave them off and they go back to their posts.
I hug them both and place the kids in the floor so they can greet their uncles.
"You look good (L/n). Why did you summon us?" Infelix asks and I toss him the few letters I've gotten since Dark had left.
"Letters? This is still going on?" Wilford asks me and I sigh.
"Yes, and frankly I'm fu-, I'm sick of it. I can't help it, I haven't gotten any word from Dark or Anti." I cross my arms and they read through some of the letters.
"Huh, seems more like all bark and no bite. Pretty sure their plan is just to make you lose your calm." Infelix says and Aiden stares outside.
I look at him and he grabs my bracelet and throws it at the door, making another shield on the castle.
"Aiden what are you doing?" I ask and the castle shakes, making us steady ourselves. He looks up at me and makes an explosion with his hands.
"The war..." I whisper and they all look at me.
"What?"
I stare at the floor and make my screen appear, tapping on it to make the sirens go off. Some guards run to me as another bomb hits the castle.
"My Queen what's going on?!"
"Make sure everyone in the kingdom gets inside this castle safe and sound! No one should be hurt, take what ever you need to keep them safe as well as yourselves!!" I shout in my command voice and pick up my kids.
The guards run out with armor and Infelix puts a hand on my shoulder.
"I need you all to be safe, my kids are staying with me for as long as I can keep them without getting bothered. Whoever this person is, has just declared war with the wrong entity." I start tapping away as quickly as possible on my screen, giving everyone a holovid message to follow directions from my guards.
"(L/n), you know we can't let you fight alone. We're coming with you whether you want it or not." Infelix holds my shoulders and I nod.
"Alright. But first I need to make sure my people are safe, I need to protect them." I say as my kids holds hands while holding onto my back tight.
"We got that part covered, you go get ready." Elementa says as people start flooding in with panic.
I nod and run to my room.
War is what they want. They're getting their damn war. Just not in the way they expect.
