"Good, very good." Sebastian was breathing heavily from the fighting exercise. He didn't have his usual black tailcoat on, and his white sleeves were rolled up. "But keep your defenses stronger. I am simply going easy on you."
The other demon, however, was barely struggling to breathe. She smiled and nodded. "Well, next time don't go easy on m-!" She started but then Sebastian suddenly came up to her and put his hand on her shoulder.
"Unfortunately, it is time for me to attend to my young master. We will continue this tomorrow." He said. "How are your wings? Can you fly yet?"
"Not yet." Her smile faded as she unfolded her wings and held them out. Her 12-foot wingspan was massive, and she needed the colossal size of them to allow her to fly. Despite the size, they were fairly light due to the bird-like bones. Those bones were similar to the ones in her body.
"I am sorry about that. I was just doing what I had to do to protect the manor and my bocchan." He sighed and walked out of the clearing and back to the manor.
She shook her head and carefully folded her wings back in, wincing slightly. She followed him, the smile gradually returning to her face. "It's quite alright."
In the manor.
"Sebastian, where's your coat?" Ciel raised an eyebrow as his butler's informal attire.
"It was dirtied, so I gave it to Meirin to be cleaned." He explained as he put the teacup and saucer down on the desk. Ciel picked up the teacup and brought it to his lips. It scalded his lip slightly but he didn't care and he continued to drink the tea.
"Very well." He said and put the cup down.
"Do you need anything else?" He asked.
"No, you may leave now." he sighed and picked up a piece of paperwork that was scattered amongst other papers across his desk. Sebastian bowed and left the office. He walked down to his room and peeked in. The female whom had been successfully staying in his room for the past month now without his master finding out was lounging around on his bed, picking out any damaged feathers.
"Do you need anything?" he asked and slipped in his room. She looked up and sat up.
"Nothing at all, Sebastian." She smiled.
"You have been staying here a month and you have yet to remember your name." He sighed and sat on the bed right next to her.
"My name?" she repeated, her eyebrows going up. Sebastian nodded. "My name... I still don't remember." she muttered.
"That won't do." He sighed. "How about I list off names and see if any of them spark a memory."
"Alright." She sighed. Sebastian began to say a bunch of different names. After about 50 failed attempts, he seemed to give up.
"This is harder than I anticipated." He sighed and massaged his temples.
"Perhaps a new name would be better?" She whispered to herself.
He raised an eyebrow. "That's not a bad idea, actually. Any specific names you have in mind?" He asked.
She shook her head, her long sable hair whipping around. "I want you to pick for me!" she said happily.
His eyes widened. "Are you sure? I don't think I cou-"
"Yes you can. You just listed off all of those names. I'm sure you can choose one measly name!" She shouted.
"Shh!" he hissed.
"Sorry." she giggled.
"Now, a name..." he pondered. 'Mary? Definitely no. Catherine? No... Tch, this is ridiculous.'
"Harder than I thought." She sighed. "It's alright. I know you'll come up with something soon."
"Was I saying that aloud?" he asked.
"Indeed you were." She laughed.
Sebastian sighed and shook his head in amusement. How was he supposed to figure out a name for her? Perhaps a name will pop up later.
"I believe it is time to get you new clothes. Those rags would not be very presentable if my young master were to find out about y-" he started.
"Sebastian, what are you doing cooped up in your room?" Ciel opened the door and stepped in. The girl's face drained of colour, as did Ciel's. "SEBASTIAN, WHY IS THERE AN ANGEL IN HERE?!"
