Early morning had dawned. The sky outside was still light blue and the night's chilly temperatures still lingered. Kana had been awake for a few minutes now, she was sitting in the corner of the room, despite the sun's rising it was still completely dark inside.

"I wonder if I could leave without them noticing now." She thought, looking at the open door to her room. She could barely see the outline of the frame. Arching her back a bit she stretched until it popped and slumped back down, sighing.

The next room over Eruka stood organizing some items she pulled from the wreckage. A few tadpole bombs bounced around the room. Most of the things she recovered were just large broken chunks that could possibly be used as tables. She seemed upset or just disturbed by something. A light knock kissed her locked door.

"Hm?" Eruka croaked. Walking over some of her tadpoles she tip-toed across the floor and opened the door. Kana was standing there.

"H-Hi." Kana said.

"Um, good morning." Eruka noticed that she looked a bit worried. Then again, she always did.

"I, uh, I just came to let you know I will be leaving now." She pulled her arms in close to her chest. "It didn't feel right to go without telling you."
"Oh..." Eruka got that same upset looking expression she had just a few moments ago. She broke through it though and managed to fake a smile. "It was nice meeting you."

Kana blushed. "Really? It was nice spending these past few days with you too, thank you a lot for saving me." Eruka nodded in response, smiling sincerely this time. With that Kana took it as her moment to go, she quickly nodded back and started up the stairs into the now subtle pink daylight.
As Kana stepped over some fallen debris she heard a shout from behind her.

"Wait! Wait!" Kana turned around as Eruka ran to the top of the stairs. She huffed a bit once she got to the top. "Why don't Free and I take you there!? I mean, you'll be all by yourself and I bet it'll take you a while! You'd be alone all morning. We could make sure you get there safely."

Kana cocked her head a bit to the left. "Well... I'm not sure, strangers aren't allowed to know where to find our home." She trailed off.

"We don't have to walk you up to the front door. Please? Just until after we pass Death City at least? It would be dangerous for you to pass it alone, right?" Eruka secretly hoped.

"Well... I guess..." Kana replied meekly. "But we need to split up, for real, after we pass the city." As Kana said this Eruka rushed downstairs to wake Free.

An woke up as her alarm clock ticked closer to 6 a.m., turning off the alarm before it even started to sound it's morning call, she rolled back onto her side.

"I'm not ready for this." She yawned.

Her bedroom didn't have any windows but felt warm, a small lamp at the other end of the room gave everything a peachy glow. An forced herself over and turned on the second lamp in the room, a small one that sat on the nightstand by the alarm clock. Sitting up and slipping out of the silky sheets, her bare feet touched the soft, thin, cream carpeting.
An walked to the left of the room, a vanity mirror hung on the wall and to the right of that was a closet; its double doors left open from the last time it was used. In front of the closet, she peered in, trying to figure out what she should wear.

"Go dressy?" She thought thinking of her outfit that was tailored to look like Kid's. "Or Casual?" She filed through the closet's outfits, trying to decide what would be best for talking in front of the organization today. Her pajamas were minimalistic. Very loose and a tad see through, it looked comfortably breathable. After a few moments more An finally decided to pull one of the black suits out of the closet, she had multiple. She carried the folded outfit in her arms a few steps into the bathroom.
