I had spent they days ticking down to my departure with Kol and Rebekah. We had grown rather close especially Kol and I. "Hey Scotty" I said into my phone "hey how are you" "alright currently picking my next destination" "did something happen" "nothing that you need to worry your head about" "Derek told me about you being a werewolf" I freeze "he said that you were close with his family before the fire" "yeah his mum taught me control with the help of Peter I have to go" I hung up no longer wanting to have that conversation. Walking down to my car after handing the key in. "Passion" spinning around "look I'm sorry that I didn't come sooner but I don't want you to leave" "my brother didn't even know until a few minutes ago when he announced over the phone he knew" "I'll come back I promise" I walk over and hug him. "Your my best friend Nik a stubborn one but your still my best friend" kissing his cheeks before turning to Rebekah and giving her a hug and kissing her cheek goodbye. "Kol I may not have known you long but it was long enough for me to know one thing for certain" "what's that" "that I want to do this" I grab his head and pull it down and kiss him for a good few minutes before pulling away for air "goodbye handsome remember me while I'm gone" getting in my car and driving away leaving one aww struck original and two very sad ones behind. I didn't want to go but I had to. I had to know whether it meant anything at least on my end or was it just because they were the first people since Isaac left to even pay attention to me.
