One day while I was around 9, I was wandering around my neighborhood. I came across a girl I had known from my class, but wasn't too close with, sitting in her driveway playing with powdery fake snow. I walked up to her with a smile and said hi, then introduced myself. We talked for a few minutes as I said I was simply roaming around. We instantly clicked. We sat and talked about stuff normal kids talk about, like dogs and school and stuff. Her name was Avery. I still talk with her today, but we aren't as tight as we use to be. Anyways, she introduced me to our soon to be clique-mate, Olivia. We were a typical trio. We lived about a 3 minute bike ride to our school, so that was our old stomping grounds. If we weren't playing at the school, we were dicking around at each other's houses or roaming around the neighborhood. Around the corner of my house was a soda machine that our Pepsi™ employee neighbor owned, and we would go by there and spend quarters we found on the ground to buy drinks. We also had another friend named Ethan who I got closer with in 5th grade and had a fall out with in 7th grade. Ethan had known Avery since preschool and they were closer than any other pair at our school. The only person who could break their ties was each other. Unfortunately, that eventually happened. Me and Ethan weren't the only guys in the group, later down the line came a guy named Boone, who Avery had a MAJOR crush on. Boone liked her too a lot but unfortunately, they never hooked up, even in middle school. Boone later became my best friend. Today, he's my go to fella. My right hand man. My future best man. I to this day still love him like the brother I never had. And boy did we do many fucking retarded things. But alas, that is to be another part I shall get to later.
