Hibari Kyoya liked small animals. This trait of his could be seen in his attachment to Hibird, and his gentleness towards his box animal, Roll.
It wasn't hard to notice that he was kind to other animals too. For example, he was once found asleep under a shady tree in the garden, cuddling with Uri and Natsu.
(Tsuna took a picture, covered them with a blanket, and left.)
But anyways, there were a number of maids that often fawned over this hidden cinnamon roll characteristic of the scariest guardian in the mansion. A number of butler often liked to see the unexpected side of the Cloud Guardian as well.
But Hibari's personal butler was the one that created the Kyouya-sama Fanclub.

When Smiley Herbivore first saw the Cloud Guardian, the Cloud Guardian eyed him in hostility; glared at him like he was offensive; and scowled at him like he was disgusting.
Smiley did not feel threatened. He is, after all, a butler of the Vongola, so he was quite used to that disdainful scowl.
But what happened next was out of his expectations.
"Hibari! Hibari!" called a yellow fluffbirb.
Smiley eyes it with interest as the bird flapped its small wings, flapping, flapping-- and then it landed at the Cloud Guardian's shoulder, near the crook of his neck.
Seeing the bird, the Cloud Guardian picked up a sleeping spiky thing from his table-- a hedgehog? Wait, that thing was real? The hedgehog roused awake and climbed up to the alternating side of Hibari's shoulder. Hibari poked at the thing's nose.
Right after, Hibari's eyes narrowed at Smiley again, who momentarily flinched in surprise at the sudden shot of bloodlust.
But Smiley, at the time, could only chuckle in response.
Hibari raised an eyebrow. "Why are you laughing, Hebivore?" he questions, evidently itching for the weapons in his pocket.
Smiley's lips stretched long and thin-- his eyes narrowed as he studied his new tenant, holding onto a mask of confidence and pride.
"I am honored to work with you from now, Sir Cloud Guardian."

Over the years of being Guardians in the same Family, everyone picked up the habit of buying souvenirs when they went out of the country for missions. They were, after all, like a family. But for some reason, everyone always picks out a small, plush animal toy for the Cloud Guardian.
For example:
"I'm home!" Takeshi declares happily, opening the front door way too carefree and casually for the current best swordsman in the world. "Man, was that a long job!" he laughs, "Oh hey, hi there, Kyouya-senpai!" he greets.
Kyouya, doing his patrols, raised an eyebrow at the loud Rain Guardian. "Hn," he acknowledges Takeshi's presence from the grand staircase. "Don't make a ruckus."
Takeshi laughed, scratching the back of his head. "Sorry, sorry!" he says unapologetically. Well, he's used to that remark, although he didn't get it as often as Ryohei. "Oh, good timing-"
Takeshi reached into his bag and picked something out.
It was a small kitten plushie.
"Here, a souvenir." Takeshi offered, climbing up the stairs and placing it on Hibari's head.
Hibari was just too speechless to respond.
Smiley, who was coincidentally watching from the sidelines, choked in laughter and tried with all his might not to make a single peep.
-----
Smiley looked through the rows and stacks of plush toys in the room. There were mountains of them, different ones on display at different angles depending on how much Kyouya-sama liked them. His favourites were the ones by his futon and his desk.
Smiley always feelt as if this room soothed his soul.
That's the cat toy Takeshi-sama gave him that time, he chuckled, beginning to count them again. That's the Totoro Lambo-sama gave him; that's the hamster Chrome-sama got for him; then there's the frog from Mukuro-sama and mascot pineapple from Fran-sama.
Oh, the dolphin from Basil-sama as on the desk today. That duck is from Hayato-sama, isn't it? The little wallaby plushie was from Ryohei-sama, and that squirrel was from Tsunayoshi-sama-- oh isn't that the giant Hibird plush from the Cavallone Decimo?
Smiley fawned as he took pictures of everything new. He's been in here so many times he's secretly given all the toys little names and secret rankings on how favoured they were.
I mean, some of these are from five whole years ago! Isn't Kyouya-sama just the sweetest? I mean he's such a Tsun-
The door opened.
Smiley flinched.
"You're taking too long, Herbivore," Kyouya-sama frowned, growling in a dangerously low tone, "Get out of my room or I'll bite you to death!"
