It is currently 8:00 AM and i'm stirring awake as my hangover symptoms arise. I turn over to face Blake and he is still asleep with his lips slightly ajar. I tilt my head in awe and a smile stretches across my cheeks - how did i get so lucky?
Midway through my food preparations for the party when Blake stumbles into the kitchen.
"Scrambled egg on toast with an orange juice?" I question.
"Please" he smiles
"On the table" i point over as i watch his face light up with relief.

"We have 10 minutes Blake and the balloons aren't finished and the confetti isnt on the table and the candles aren't burning so it smells of rubber and..." i feel his lips on mine.
"Stop panicking, i'll finish everything in time, you go light the candles and sort the confetti and i'll do everything else"
"Thankyou"
"So, who have you invited Addy?"
"Katie, Reece, George obviously and then some work friends and your school friends"
"We'll have a house full i presume?"
"I wouldn't have it any other way" i dance around the room to the beat of the music. We hear 3 knocks on the door and i nervously race over to open it.
"Katieee, hello! How are you feeling?" "Reece, George, hi! Blake is through the kitchen with balloons" i give the each a hug as they enter.
Further on in the afternoon, more and more guests flood into the house and we end up with more than invited because the 'plus 1s'. I wasn't really complaining because i guess it was a case of The More The Merrier.
I figured that everyone was here so i decided to lock the door and get on with my evening.
The drinks are flowing and our make-shift dance-floor is bombarded with people. Blake and i stop dancing and walk to the garden.
"What was that?" I panic
"I thought everyone was here?" The knocking sound continued as we realised it was our back gate being pounded on.
"I'll go with you, smile and say hello and hopefully it is someone with the wrong address"
We wonder over, hand in hand and i watch as Blake creaks open the gate. I smile as begin my sentence : "hello! Can i hel-" i freeze and run inside.
