In the hours they had babysat together, MinSeok couldn't help but think about breeding JongDae and having pups with him. He didn't know whether he had to blame his unsatisfied alpha sex drive or the slight crush he developed for the amazing omega.

JongDae had apologized for his words over and over again, and MinSeok felt whole again. Not any but the omega he liked, liked him back. MinSeok was ecstatic. It was now his favorite task to go hunting and show off his catch, admiring how JongDae's eyes sparkled in pride and joy. But he felt even better when they looked after the pups together. JongDae was a bubbly and happy omega; he loved to play pranks on the Alpha though, most of them made his heart beat in fear. He was really good at that.

JongDae loved to play hide and seek with MinSeok. They both felt like pups again, loving to chase each other through the great forest. After MinSeok found the omega, he always licked his cheek bashfully before he dashed away, leaving him feeling hot all over.

This time, MinSeok didn't find JongDae in time. He didn't want to play at all. The hunters found traces of bears in their territory and warned to be alarmed and that no wolf should go into the forest alone. But JongDae didn't know. And MinSeok was scared for life. His crush developed into something more serious over the time they spend together and he wanted to ask Yifan if he was allowed to court the omega.

Smelling the air, he could faintly smell JongDae but the smell of bear overpowered everything. MinSeok knew that it was near. Shivering, he told himself not to panic. He had to find JongDae first. He staked over fallen trees in caution and smelled again. He could smell JongDae better. He smelled his blood. Not caring in his fear for JongDae, he ran as fast as he could, the irony smell of blood in his nose leading him the way. In a part of the forest where the trees stood very close and only a bit sunlight reached the ground, JongDae laid on pine needles whimpering and shivering. He heard and smelled MinSeok's presence and whined. MinSeok got closer and almost froze in shock. JongDae's hind leg was bleeding crazily and his paw was twisted in a weird way. When JongDae could see his face, the small omega cried out and tried to stand up. MinSeok pushed him gently down with his snout and smelled the air for any trace of the bear. It wasn't that close but the smell was still fresh. MinSeok sat down and howled as loud as he could. He couldn't get JongDae out of this situation alone. The response came almost immediate.

MinSeok had the justified fear his howl may lead the bear back. He started to lick JongDae's wound and cringed at the omegas cries and whimpers in pain. He couldn't help more than to cleanse the wound and stop the bleeding. JongDae raised his head and whined pitifully. MinSeok licked his nose and cheek in a comforting manner and massaged his neck with his snout.

Not shortly after, he heard a rustle between the raspberry bushes from behind him. But it wasn't the direction his pack mates were supposed to come out. The rustle came from a large animal and MinSeok leaped up promptly. It was the bear.
