Yes, I know. Chapter 7 and 8 are very long, and somewhat boring :/ But trust me it is worth it ^^

We reached our street, we entered into Johns driveway. He drove the car into his garage and parked, without any hustle. I quickly got out, not even waiting for him to try and open the door on my behalf. Andrew was still inside the car, taking his time, he was clearly enjoying himself. I told him to get off before he broke something, it took a while for him to budge. He then got him off, and ran home without
thanking John leaving the gracious honour to me.

I still had to take the things I bought out of the car, or should I say the things John bought.

"Need help?" He quickly said, when seeing that there was no way, I could carry all that by myself.
'Yes, please' I said admittedly.
"So what exactly are you planning to do with all these things?" He asked, looking at the chocolate bars. Now that he mentioned it, I was not sure exactly, I had not really thought it through when buying. It
sounded like a good idea at the time.

'Is it not obvious John, people buy food to eat and I for one I'm very hungry' I said with an "I got this face."

"Right..." He replied, giving me a sly look, and I could have sworn he whispered something along the line
of "As if..."

'You know John. I might not look like I eat junk food, you should know that I do, and on a regular basis.' I couldn't believe what I was saying myself, I mean seriously, I don't eat junk food, and whenever I do, I
highly doubt its even classified under junk.

"I didn't say anything" He said while handing me a chocolate bar.
'But you were thinking it' I interrupted
"Oh so you can read minds now?"
'No, but I could tell from your expression' He didn't say anything, he just smiled.
He locked the car, and as we were walking on to the pathway, a cloud of snow swooped over us, with all the force it could master. We could not run forward, so we had to run back, into Johns house. By the time he opened the door, we were already drenched. It wasn't that bad, but it was enough to start freezing.

"That was completely unexpected" John immediately said after closing the door.
'I couldn't agree more.' I replied looking down on my wet uniform
"Let me go get us some towels"
'Please do.' I replied as he walked of.

I had not been to into Johns house yet, and I have to admit that for people who had just moved in, they seem to have unpacked and settled rather quickly. Everything seemed to have been there for a long time, it felt homey. The paintings were strange to say the least, in an interesting way however. I'm guessing Johns mother has great taste with her choice of furniture, it fits in just perfectly with the colour of the paintings

John came back with the towels.
"Here you go" he said handing me one.
'Thank you' I replied, wiping my face, well it was more of a pat. I wonder if he was also feeling the déjà vu that I felt. I was mostly thinking of when I am going to get home, or better yet, how.

"It will probably clear up soon" John began, as I hoped he didn't see the worry on my face.

'Highly unlikely, this storm is the biggest I've seen in a long time, and my mom is not even here'. Now I could bet that the worry was clearly visible on my face.
"My mother is also not here" He said, with less worry in his tone.

'There is no way of getting home now' I continued
"So what will we do in the meantime?" John quickly asked, changing the subject.
'I don't know, I just want to go home.' I said while wrapping myself with the towel as I shivered.

"Well look at the bright side, at least you bought all this food to keep us busy" I looked at him, thinking he's crazy if he thinks I am going to eat all that junk food, at an effort to pass time.

"How about we watch a movie?" John asked while smiling, seeing my expression.
'It's not like we have anything better to do' I said, turning away avoiding his smug expression.

"would you like some hot chocolate with that?"

'Yes, please'

"OK, help yourself to the living room, while I make us some." He said while walking away.

I went into the room and sat on the leather sofa as I waited. Some minutes passed and John came back holding two giant mugs, emphasis on giant.

"Here you go" He said, as I gave him a strange look while saying thank you.
'So John what did you have in mind?' I asked, taking a sip.
"I was thinking about how long the weather was going to stay like this." He replied.
I looked at him, he seemed to be in deep thought. I let out a slight cough, as though clearing my trout.

'I meant about the movie' I said. I could feel a smile creeping at the corner of my face, thinking 'So he is human after all'. Don't get me wrong, John seemed weird, too perfect. It was good to see him loose focus in some way, however insignificant.

"Oh, anything you'd like." He replied, regaining his "charming" expression.
'O-okay...' I started going through his movie list, recent and old.

'John, I've literally seen everything on here, and I'm not proud to say, but some twice.' I
said while sitting back on the sofa.
"Really, well I have haven't watched any of them." He replied, looking ashamed that
he hadn't. I bet, he probably thinks I have no life.

'My holidays were pretty boring' I muttered under my breath, hoping he didn't hear me.

"How were the movies?" He then asked.
'They were boring. well some were great, while most were typical and cliché. I could
tell the ending ten minutes from the first scenes, for most.'
"You don't say." He said looking at me with a "Duh" smile on his perfectly positioned lips.

'If you want, we can watch one, I don't mind.' I said, redirecting my gaze to the TV.
"No, let's leave the movie. I have something better to show you instead, come with me." He said, while holding out his hand.

'Come with you? I asked 'To where?' I added

"Upstairs" He replied

"Um... how about, you go upstairs, take whatever you want to show me, and bring it down here?' I replied, solidifying my position on the sofa. He looked at me squinting his eyes, and smiled.

"I'm getting a feeling that you don't trust me Nicoel?" He said, pulling back his hand.

'What?' I said in an offended tone. 'It's not that I don't trust you John, I'm just very tired to go up the stairs.'

"Yes, right. In that case, I won't be long" He said walking away.
'Take your precious time, I won't be going anywhere.' I yelled after him.

Alone, I was starting to wonder what Andrew might be doing, he's probably having a ball, and I'm here at some boys house. What if he tries to rape me or something. OK now I'm just making up stories, he doesn't even seem like the rape type. But then again, one can never be too sure in this day and age.

It's getting rather boring just sitting here, and John seems to be taking is time. I stood up and walked towards the window, hoping the storm had come down, so maybe just maybe, I could run home. The storm seemed to be even worse, I could barely see anything.

For a moment I thought I saw someone running through the snow. Believe me it wasn't the wind. What if there was someone out there, and what if its Andrew looking for me?
