"Yay! An Update!" The reader sarcastically said, it was evident from the expression on her, and the lack of reads that the book was going south.
"Lol" The writer replied, typing down a few more boring chapters for the sake of curing boredom.

Nicoel's POV

Hallo there so I am dabbling in the whole changes in narrator thing. So I will be toggling from first person to third person from time to time.

I was laying on a bed. The first thought that came to mind was whether or not I was dreaming. The second though was if this was even even possible or that maybe it was a dream. Overall I had concluded...

I am dead.

Well, that would be the only explanation as to why I was looking at my body from this angle. Then again, if I am dead how is it that I'm still here. I mean, don't I get to go to heaven or at the very least hell?

I stood there, examining by body inch by inch. My skin seemed to have lost a few shades of its colour and my hair looked like it needed some combing.
'I am? I was?' I was not sure as to which tense I should use. I guess I was beautiful is what I wanted to say. I went closer to the body, as I noticed that I -my body was still breathing and I could still hear a heartbeat even though it was faint.

So I am not dead, I am dreaming. Well based on the circumstances it is safe to assume that I am a ghost in this dream. In curiosity I walked to the wall. I've always wanted the power to walk through walls, because it meant I didn't have to open nor lock doors.

I put my hand through the wall, if felt weird. My hand seemed to somewhat evaporate into the wall. I pulled my hand back, I then put my heard through. I could see the outside of the room and the passage way was dark. I tried pulling my head back, I couldn't it seemed to be stuck.

How could a ghost even get stuck on a wall? I was panicking. This dream was turning out to be a nightmare, of which I was forced to spend stuck in a wall.

A few minutes passed, and it came to me that I had not really answered the more serious questions. Like, where I was, and isn't there anyone else in this dream to help me. I then decide that instead of pulling my head back, I should just walk forward. In an instant I was out of the wall and in the passage way.

It was evident that this was not my house or any house I've ever been to. The passage was cool, and how is it that my thought were clear? Dreams are not usually this lucid. Most of all it didn't make enough sense. Yes, I'm a ghost, but why is my body still breathing shouldn't I be dead?

I went the walls, and reached the outside. The sun was just about setting, it was a strange sunset. The colour contrast between the yellow red and orange was narcotized. It was a strange place, it appeared that the building I had exited from was the only one around. It looked like some old rundown inn with only a few rooms, and judging from the window design and old Dutch style roofing, it was old and clearly abandoned. I was clearly alone. I started walking on the straight gravel road the was laid out. Perhaps if I walked far enough I could find some form of sivalisation.

Far away in the horizon, I saw something. It looked small so, I was guessing it was very far away. I carried on walking, the good news was that I was not getting tired or running out of breath. Then it hit me.

"I'am a ghost? And ghost can fly!" I knew that at the very least, it was ghost 101, but how though?

I started jumping up and down, and it was clearly not walking. I'm guessing that in this dream, I am forced to walk for all of eternity (Until, I wake up at best). The little something I was seeing was not getting any closer and by now, I couldn't see the inn or were I was walking from. This was starteing to be way too redundant, I really wanted to wake up now.

The next I knew, I was nolonger on the ground. I was floating in mid air.
"I am flying!"

I blinked once, and I was now sitting on a bench in a crowded area.
...

Well that was dreadful :*
