The Mysterious Boy

~chapter 4~ (Amy's point of view)

chapter 4

    Four days later, everyone heads back to school. Summer was over and everyone's excited to start a fresh new year of school. My dad was recovering and nothing serious happen to him. I was relieved and happy that he fully recovered. My friends and I went walking towards school. They all got their schedule and head to homeroom. Tara and I both were in the same homeroom. Ben was in a different one. Tara and I both went to our seats. We sit in the middle of the classroom and saw Alexandria with two of her friends. Their names are Alexa and Amber. A crowd of people were surrounded by them. They were the coolest people in school. Alexandria blond hair shimmered on the bright sun through the glass window. She looks good in anything and always wears make-up. I heard students hurry to their desk. The teacher came storming in the classroom.

       " everyone settle down and sit in your seats." The teacher said.

Everyone followed her directions and became very quiet.

    " let me introduce myself. My name is Ms. Hogan. I'll be passing out a survey and you must turn it in at the end of class." Ms. Hogan said.

Everyone received a survey and started working on it.

     " hey, what class do you have next?"

I whispered to Tara.

      " science and how about you?" she said.

       " I'm going to language arts." I said.

        " I'll see you in lunch - Ms. Hogan interrupted and started telling everyone to turn in their survey before the bell rings. Students rushed to the door and left the survey at Ms. Hogan 's desk. I started walking out the door and started looking for my language arts class. I search the hallway but I had no luck. I felt someone watching me, so I turn around to see whether anyone was behind me. Everyone was already in their next class therefore, nobody should be around. I thought I'd seen someone near the bathroom but I think my mind was playing tricks on me. I turn to the next hallway and found my class. I go inside and knew teachers were fine with students being late to class for the first week. My language arts teacher is Ms. Richard and she told us to wait for the bell to ring. The bell rings, which meant it was time for lunch. I follow students to the cafeteria. I grab my lunch and see Tara sitting next to Ben. There's an empty seat next to Tara. I took it and started talking about our classes. When lunch was over, I head to my class. I wait for the bell to ring because I need to meet Tara after class. When the bell finally rings. I rush out the classroom and look for her. I found her near the water fountain and called her.

      " Tara! I need to talk to you."

She came towards me.

    " what do you need to tell me?" she asked.

     " I think my mind might be playing tricks on me because I thought someone was watching me but no one was behind me." I said

     "Maybe, you're just nervous about the first day. I'll see you after school." She said.

   I watch her disappear through the crowded hallway. I walk to my next class and didn't have any trouble finding it. I spent doing the same routine until school was over. I met Tara and Ben outside the school. We started walking together. While we headed to our houses, we decided to take a break and buy some water bottles from the store. I felt like someone was watching me but I didn't recognize anyone in the store. We all left the store and started walking again. I saw a guy around my age and he was staring at us. I didn't really pay much attention to him. We all kept walking and we finally got to our houses. I call Tara on the  phone and talk to her for awhile. I heard the doorbell ring. I open the door and led Tara to my room. I start telling her about what happen during school. How I thought someone was following me and watching every step I took. She told me not to worry about it and that it was nothing. Then we talk for a bit more and she decided to leave because it was getting late. When she left I put on my sleeping clothes and went to bed. I was at the park and it was surrounded by woods. The park was close to my house and I could take a path to reach it. At the park I saw a boy around my age. He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. His smile was full of joy and kindness. His eyes were brown and he seemed to be a good, kind hearted person. He kept watching me and I felt really uncomfortable. I speed walk into the woods but he followed, still watching me. I started to run but he didn't run. The only thing he did was watch me. I kept running but then I fell to the ground and everything went black. The only thing I remember seeing was the boy coming towards me.
