I woke up as soon as the blinding light came in through the cave and shined on my weary tired eyes. I yawned a long yawn and looked at the map again. I could see a whole bunch of trees drawn out. That must be where I am. I found the cave where I was and looked where I should go next. Sadly I don't even have a plan yet. Well first off survive. I walked to the stream only to pause when I saw a group of six deer staring at me bewildered of what I was. I just stood there on the pile of pine needles under the tree, standing still when a branch broke off and hit me in the head. Ow! The deer ran away frightened by my yelling. Oh well. All I could see in front of me were deers runnin and a whole bunch of trees. I liked the way the light shined through the forest, it gave the place a mysterious look. Anyways back on track. I got washed up and drank some water. Hmm I need fire. My best bet would be some flint by the beach.. I picked up some branches offer the ground. I could use these for tools. I also gathered some rocks from the stream. I walked back to my cave and set my stuff down. Hm I didn't notice that mortar and that big rock. Hey the people who came here must have grinded acorns! Unfortunately I have no idea how to grind them so I can just use the big rock. Also in the corner of my cave I saw some.. Two rocks! Flint!! Yes! It was like Christmas! Ok I'll make a fire outside the cave. I always watched that show survivor man and fire+cave is no go. He also taught me flint=fire, way easier than math. I went outside to gather more rocks to put over my fire along with some pine needles on the ground. I came Back and set a moderate fire camp. Ok now to light the fire! I held the flint rock in one hand and the other rock in the other. And with one swipe a whole load of sparks went everywhere! Sadly it only caught a tiny blotch of smoke on a leaf. I tried again. And again. Shhtick!!! I hit it as hard as I could! It all happened at once I blew on the smoke a big fire appeared and I put a whole load more of sticks on the fire so it won't go out. Whew!! I wiped the sweat off my face and did a silent cheer! I maneuvered the fire towards the cave so wind wouldn't break my happiness and end the fire. I need a log to go on now.. The fire is burning up sticks fast.. I quickly grabbed the big mortar stone and ran to the nearest tree carrying the heavy stone. I lifted it up forcing my arms to cooperate and smashed a big branch off. Ran back and shoved it in the fire. Success! The fire would burn longer! My stomach was starting to grumble.. Uh oh.. Food. I need food! The light in my head went off after awhile of thinking. I quickly grabbed the pencil sharpener and smashed the plastic off revealing the two sharp blades. Hmm this isn't food but I got some tools.. I went to a patch of grass where the deer were eating earlier. Dandelions! I picked the lot. Occasionally eating some. Not very filling but it was still food.i brought them back to the cave. And ate them all shoving the little flowers in my mouth. I was starving and this was NOT filling. They were gone. The fire was going still but running out of fuel. I stroked the fire and put some more wood on it. Then I looked towards my clothing hmmm I have two shirts on. I can sacrifice the other. I took off one and put it on the cave floor. I took the small razor and started to take some string out of my shirt. Then I cut it through the middle tied it around a small branch and ignited it. It was a torch. Not exactly like that game "minecraft" but close enough. Soon after the torch blew out. Humph I need a source of fire to keep it lit. Wait I still have string I can either make a bow or a fishing rod.. After a few moments of thinking I decided to make a bow. First because that squirrel over there looks very delish. Second it's easier than fishing. Third I know how to make a bow better! First I scavenged for a good looking stick. After wondering around a bit I found a good long stick. I took it to my cave and started to make three crevices on the ends. I twirled the string up to make it strong and tied it around the crevices. Then I made the bow a bit more softer by putting the leftover from my shirt onto the part I grab onto. Perfect! I said aloud. Then I thought ahead by taking the big part of my shit to make a quiver. First I tied the end of it up then I made little jokes throughout it and sewed it up like string tying a knot at each hole. Then I swung it onto my back. I walked out of the cave and went to find arrows. I came back with at least five good looking straight sticks and some stones in my quiver. I took the big heavy mortar and smashed one stone. The stone flew everywhere messily. Humph. Wait! I went over to the fire stoked it dished out a hot stone and smashed it like glass. There were now tons of arrow heads after smashing and heating. It is now almost night time and I have made five arrows a fire a quiver and more. It has been a successful day.
