Night 2.
I have a sort of taste of adventure and I am planning on packing up and wandering this weird world. I have just thought of a use too use the squirrel skin! I will make a torch. First I got one of my big sticks then I gathered some of the dried pine needles and leaves. I Wrapped the leaves and stuff into the squirrel and put it in the edge of the stick. I then tied it up and wolla! Good to go. I lit it up and it was perfect and bright. As soon as I lit it up I saw the cat creature in the nearby tree, its eyes glowing bright green in the night. Almost invisible. At first I stood there in shock staring at it. The cat thing disappeared into the night. I stuck the torch in the ground and went back to the cave and sat on my bed thinking of what to do. I randomly threw the mortar behind me when it went through the back of the cave! I grabbed the torch and peered in revealing a big room with drawings of that cat creature and more. There was also a chest with two heavy rock pick axes. On the ground was an axe made out of rock as well. And to the left of the cave was a door made out of a big block of tree and ropes as the hinges. Nevermind this for now. I studied the carvings on the wall. The creatures where labeled with English! The first one was the cat called katzique. There was also that bird I saw and many more birds. Resinea bird, suartail, giant pheaonix which looked like a giant bird. And the rest looked like birds on earth. I was beggining to wonder who wrote this.. There were more creatures. Wolves apparently bigger than the wolves on earth, more species of wolves and birds listed, cows, bulls, monkeys with three eyes and six arms who apparently glide tree to tree, horses and more. The writing was sloppy and seemed to be ancient most of the list was worn away too.. This is definitely a whole new world. There were also drawings of the people who must have wrote this. They called themselves humens. They seemed to be bigger then me. Well I was only 13 but bigger than humans. The kids seemed as big as a regular basketball player. And the grown ups looked like giants. It teller stories of mining iron and steel and other metals like good and diamond copper and other geo stuff I don't remember or recognize. I was getting tired so before I went to bed I decided to open the mysterious door. Inside was a dark tunnel of spider webs and other bugs. I heard this strange bug like noise when all of a sudden a centipede the size of a tree came scratching and running towards me. I ran like hell and grabbed the stone axe slashing at it. I cut its head off but that wasn't enough. It's head kept tryin to bite me and it's body wrapped around me. I screamed as I was being crushed and squeezed. I dropped the axe preparing to die. Struggling and struggling. When the katsique ran in showing a new body feature on its sides we're wingish looking things as it pounced and scratched at the centipede. The centipede dropped off of me and I fell over and passed out.
Day 4
I woke up in the same room but on the bed with something else purring next to me. I turned around and saw the katsique that saved my life sleeping in a crawled up position purring. I got up cautiously and looked around to see that the catsique was awake staring at me tiredly. Plus baby catsiques sleeping next to her. She blinked and went back to sleep. I just looked around confused. I looked at the door the centipede came out of and put one of the biggest sticks onto it. I'm planning on exploring the mine later. Ugh my body was sore from yesterday with bruises all over me. I guess I'll have to deal with it. I looked at the catsique awhile and decided to name her and her four babies. Your name can be savior I said to her. She purred in appreciation. I knelt down to savior and pat her head. She opened her eyes and licked my hand with her big tongue. Cats tongues are usually like sand paper but saviors tongue was soft. I sat there petting savior and the. Played with her cubs. I had made friends and I am no longer lonely. But I still do wish there was another human here. I got up and went through to the old small cave where all my stuff was. I took my stuff and set them in my new home. Savior the. Got up and went outside motioning me to follow. Huh? I said to her. I followed her to a bush and behind the bush was a dead body of a whole deer half eaten. I thought back to the one time I saw the half deer. Savior must have been trying to offer me some! I smiled and petted savior. Thanks savior! I said. I was still sad about the poor deer but I guess survival is survival. I dragged the body into the cave skinned the deer and put the meet around putting them on sticks like shishkobobs. Then I let it sit over the fire. I realized in needed a type of bowl.. Maybe I can use the axe to cut down a tree and make some stuff! I can probably cut down one tree before the axe breaks. And luckily there are two picks so I can carve out some more rock. I can use the deer for string and the bones for sharper tools. The good razor is now a blunt rusty piece of crap. So I threw it in the fire. By now my bow string has broken and my shirt quiver is messed up. I don't have anymore arrows either. I was attempting to catch a single rabbit and broke all of my tools yesterday. The knife I made was loose too. I will make new things with that leather. And maybe I will find coal cuz that torch I made quickly burnt out and didn't work. As I cooked the meat i watched the weird birds flying around. And singing there songs. These weird birds sounds sounded like a real person singing it was quite remarkable. Savior was outside playing and teaching her baby kitties hunting. After a few min the meat was done and I was ready to eat! Thanks savior. I walked inside the cave room I have discovered and picked up the rock axe. I walked outside and found giant tree and started to hit it with the axe. First from a bottom angle, second from he top. After and hour of hitting the tree and tightening the strings the axe was about ready to give in. So I took one last hit and it started to wobble. Then it began to fall towards the beach. It came down and hit the ground hard splashing the water too. The tree was enormous. Savior looked to see what was going on and then went too sleep with her kittens again. First I started off by cutting the tree in as many pieces as i could. Then I dragged the big part (with a little help from savior) to the front of the house. So far I had three big wooden blocks. I took the sharp part off my knife and started too carve out a little bowl. First I made a circle in the middle from where I would be then I chipped around it. After at least 3 hours I'm guessing I had a little make shift bowl. The first thing I did was go outside and got some salt water from the ocean. As I was getting some I noticed gigantic storm clouds and the sound of crackling destructible thunder trailed off in the distance. Not good! Wind started to blow amazingly fast almost knocking out my fire. I had to act fast. First I dragged the big tree trunks into the big part of the cave to act as chairs I guess. Then I gathered all my rocks and materials and put them in the Chest. I moved the fire closer to the cave out side and made a really big fire. I put the bowl inside too. I grabbed one of the pick axes and went inside the cave. Along the walls were chunks of coal. I quickly hit the loose pieces out and that left me at least 9 big chunks. I shut the mine door and blocked it again. I cut some parts of the deer to use as non flammable string and tied the coal to a strong branch and put wood around it. It was a now a torch. I made 5 torches and saved the other 4 pieces of coal. I lit two torches and placed them on the side of the cave. I looked out side and the clouds were directly over us. Savior had already gone inside and the wind was actually blowing the knocked down tree away! One tree was knocked down by itself! I went into the cave and blocked it up with the three wooden blocks tied together to act as a barricade. It was completely dark out side before I went inside here. I felt safe with savior and my torches. I guess it's time to explore the cave..
Night 3
I have a pick axe in my hand and another pick tied to my back along with a new sharp knife tied together by that deer string. I also had armor attached to my chest. It was part of that centipede. I opened the cave door and walked in. I also had a big back pack type thing I made with the deer. This time my knife was made with deer bones too. I held the torch in my hand to guide the way through the darkness. I found the patch off coal and picked the rest out with my pick and knife. I put them in the back pack. Past the coal was a vast cave. Twirling up and down with water dripping down the walls. There was a pool of fresh water too. As I was looking in the pool of water I saw movement behind me crawling on the rocky ceiling. I quickly looked up and was ambushed by a spider the size of a monster truck wheel! I stabbed it and threw it on the ground. It quickly got up and pounced at me. I dodged and cut one of its hairy legs off. It screeched in pain and pounced again. This time it got me. I was pinned to the ground by a giant spider and was about to be eaten. Once again savior saved me. Savior pounced on the big spider and slashed at it biting it's neck. The spider died. I thanked savior and pat her. I then motioned her to go back to her kitties. I then just looked for some kind of iron ore I could use. I found a shade of dark orange penny like Color on the ground by the pool. Copper. I mined around the edges of the sheets of copper and pulled out five big pieces of copper. And headed out of the cave with savior. Her kittens were sleeping when we got back. Well I have gained coal and copper. Also a few scratches and more bruises. I was aching and it hurt. I limped to my bed and laid down resting for awhile then fell asleep dreaming off giant spiders and centipedes absurd! Oh wait...
