Patrick's POV
"Crap I forgot my stuff." I said under my breath. I grabbed my car keys and walked to my car after locking the door to my hotel room. As I pulled up to the house.
I don't know why but something felt off. I could see Sammy in the backyard. It was safe for me the go in. I walked in and went to our bed room, I didn't see my stuff so I went to look around knowing Amanda probably hid it. When I walked into the bathroom. There was blood everywhere.
"Amanda! AMANDA!" I yelled as I ran through the house. I came to the kitchen to see her passed out on the floor with a pool of blood and a note.
(Y'all already know what the note says)
I fell to the floor crying.
"Baby? C-can you hear me? I'm here I'm...I'm so sorry. Please don't go. I'm sorry. IM SO SORRY!!" I yelled as I put my hands on her face and laid my head down on her chest. I felt something on my side. I looked down to see her hand gripping my shirt.
"A-Amanda? Ba-baby!" I studdered as I grabbed her face a placed passionate kiss on her lips.
"Pa-Patrick?" She questioned with a confused look.
"Yes baby I'm right here."
"Wh-what happened?" She asked. This was my chance to make it all right.
"You...you were driving home and got in a small collision. It hurt your face and wrists pretty bad. I uh...brought you inside and was working on cleaning you up when you fell unconscious. Okay baby? I need you to stay calm while I go call 911." I said with a fake calm tone. I ran to the living room and grabbed my phone.
"911 Houston Texas how can I help you?"
"My girlfriend..." I walked far enough away from her so she wouldn't hear me.
"She cut her wrists and fell unconscious."
"Okay sir what is your address?"
"157 hapless dr."
"Okay an ambulance is on the way."
I hung up and ran back to her. Except when I got there...she was unconscious. I ran over to her. You could almost see the life draining out of her.
"NO NO NO BABYGIRL STAY WITH ME!!" I yelled I heard a firm knock at the door. I ran over only to see two paramedics with a stretcher. They ran in as I got out of the way.
"No pulse." One said
"No color to her skin or dilation to her eyes."
"No no no check again!" I yelled
"Okay okay sir please calm down." He said after he said that he looked at the other paramedic. "Start chest compressions." They lifted her up on the stretcher and started chest compressions. One paramedic walked slowly pulling the stretcher with him while the other one kept doing chest compressions. They got her in the ambulance as I hopped in my car.

When I arrived at the hospital they had already taken her back.
"Um in here for Amanda Faloop." I said to the lady at the desk.
"Oh let me open up her file. I will update you and see if you are able to see her."
I sat down and about 15 minutes later was called over to the desk.
"Okay. So Amanda is fine. She had something called a free fire (made up) her veins became laced with blood to hold the blood in from her cuts. She actually was completely alive when the chest compressions started they just couldn't tell she had a pulse. All they need to do is give her a couple ounces of blood and stitch her up and she can come home. Unless you want to sign a form that will send her to a psych center for two weeks until she is mentally stable."
I though about it but I didn't want to risk her getting back the memories of my abusive self.
"No I believe I can help her."
"Okay go back through that hallway and go three doors down and she'll be in the room to your left."
"Okay thanks"
I began walking down and when I reached the room I saw Amanda. She was bruised all over. I know it wasn't from her cutting herself.😔 I walked up to her and put my hand on her shoulder. She looked at me. She had been looking out the window so when she saw me she was surprised.
"Patrick?"
"Yes baby girl?"
"Where have you been?"
"What do you mean?"
"I've been in this room for 8 years. Waiting for you" as she said this she started crying.
"No no no baby girl." I laughed s slightly to try and cheer up the mood.
"It must be the meds your on. Baby girl you have been here for 2 hours."
"Oh...are you sure?" She asked. I chuckled slightly as I said "completely sure."
"Okay I trust you." She said

Trust. I had lost her trust. This time I won't.
